For a traditional look, choose something like goblet, pinch pleat or pencil pleat and for something more modern go for eyelets, cartridge or the wave system. Concentrating on very small details within the overall design, such a subtle change in tone, or the formation of a texture, and using them to continue a story throughout, proved to be a rewardingly inspirational method of achieving this beautiful scheme, which included curtaining and blinds (romans, rollers and venetians) for every room, as well as a healthy dose of scatter cushions and trimmings, for a generous family home, built on the Mill Pond from scratch.
