Quarterly and monthly memberships will automatically renew. After the initial 12-month period, any membership may be cancelled at any time by providing 30 days written notice. The Center may revise membership fees, charges, and rates at any time. In order to qualify for the “Resident” rate, you must live in the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District.

Pre-registration for programs is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If a class has not made its minimum by 7 days prior to start date, it may be cancelled. See separate registration date requirements for Leagues. No reminders are sent when classes or events begin.

Community Center Members receive special rates for many classes, activities, and room rentals. Residents receive reduced rates on room rentals, some programs, and some Parks and Recreation activities.

Refund requests must be made to the BCMUD 7 days before the class or program begins.

Unescorted Minors Minors who are not 10 years old AND have not commenced 5th grade of school may not be left unattended in the Community Center unless they are participating in a supervised program or accompanied by a member 16 years of age or older, or accompanied by an individual 18 years of age or older who has purchased a Day Pass.

Support Your Local Youth Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District Youth Scholarship Program Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District offers financial assistance for eligible youth to participate in Parks and Recreation classes, programs, and activities. The exclusive source of funding for the program is private donations. Funds of the District may not be used to provide financial assistance. As a result, the availability and amount of any financial assistance is subject to the receipt of private donations by the District to fund the program. Donations are accepted for the youth scholarship program. If you are interested, please contact the Community Center Coordinator at b.schultz@bcmud.org. Kinderdance I

Kinderdance II

The perfect start to a little dancer’s journey begins with Kinderdance I. We will cover the basics of ballet and tap in each class. Each session builds upon skills learned in the previous session.

The next step in a little dancer’s journey continues with Kinderdance II. After a dancer has completed one year of Kinderdance I, we will keep building on the techniques of ballet and tap.

Kindergym

This creative movement and motor skill development class is perfect for our 2 year olds who love to move whenever the music comes on! This class serves as a pre-dance and pre-gymnastics class and will focus on developing the skills needed to move into a dance or gymnastics class upon turning 3. Dance attire is encouraged, but not required. Parents are allowed in the class with children.

A high-energy and fun beginner tumbling class. Gymnasts will learn how to tumble, execute individual tricks and learn skills on a balance beam. This is the perfect class for those new to gymnastics. Participants need to wear t-shirt, shorts or athletic pants. Parents are not allowed to be in the room during class. Kindertots & Kindergym

Are you ready for some football? This co-ed flag football league offers a low-contact, continuous action sport. All games will be played at the Community Park Field. Practice fields will be provided within the District. The season consists of 6 games for three age divisions.

This co-ed league is sure to be a hit while introducing young players to baseball! Players will develop their skills while focusing on the basic fundamentals of throwing, catching, and hitting. Junior Polar Bear Club Swimmers 12 years and under will be challenged to swim a designated number of laps in 1 month (31 days). Join us.... Holiday in the Park Craft Fair & Jingle Run 5K

Kick off Holiday in the Park with the Jingle Run 5K. Families are encouraged to participate in the run then stay and enjoy Holiday in the Park. The annual Holiday In the Park will include a trackless train, bounce castles, face painting, performances by local groups, crafts, cookies, holiday craft show*, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa. Community Center Open House

We want a chance to meet you and show you what the Community Center has to offer! Join us at the Brushy Creek Community Center for an Open House and learn all that we have going on! There will be hors d’oeuvres, punch, center tours, a chance to meet your neighbors and ask any questions. Activities for the kids will be held in the Game Room, Child Play Room and the Gym.
