Arbor Day Celebration

Join us after school on Arbor Day at the Community Center to learn about trees, water conservation and how to be fire wise. Snacks and drinks will be provided and tree seedlings will be given away. Call (512) 255-7871 x405 or email r.hagan@bcmud.org to reserve your patch and register. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or Scout/ Campfire Leader. 5th grade & up members may attend Arbor Day without a parent or guardian. Patches available for participants.

Children’s Book Exchange & Recycle Day

Learn to Fish

Come join us to learn basic fishing skills. Including: casting, knot tying, fish identification, fishing safety and rules and regulations. The curriculum is from Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Junior Angler Education. Participants rotate stations in the gym to learn these skills to prepare for fishing on their own. Garden Day

Don’t miss this special event led by Brushy Creek’s horticulturist, Rachel Hagan! Walk through and tour the garden and identify different flowers. Children can participate in garden crafts, seed and plant education, and more!
