Brand Overview The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was established in 1989 as a unique forum operating on the basis of open dialogue and equal respect for the views of all its participants. Since its inception, the APEC has worked to create an environment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, services and people across member economies through policy decisions and economic and technical cooperation. The APEC annually convenes heads of government and business leaders in an APEC Summit to talk about issues that are relevant to the region. Decision-making within APEC is reached through consensus. Held in conjunction with the APEC Summit, the APEC Voices of the Future Program Provides an opportunity for young people to attend the APEC Summit and attend dialogue sessions with heads of government and business leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.

Logo & Rationale This logo is inspired from flower petals. Flower petals, they bloom out from the middle and it spreads to show the youthfulness. All the petals come from the same spot, just like our bond between human. The petals indicate the willpower of all the youth to achieve the same goal that they have set. The 21 petals in the logo represents the 21 countries. The yellow is to show the bright future ahead while blue to show understanding knowledge and seriousness.

Minimum Size and Clear Space
All APEC VOF logo should be display with and amount of empty space surrounding. The amount of empty space is the “O� of VOF and space should be increase accordingly with the logo size.

Incorrect Usage
DO NOT slant the logo.
DO NOT place the logo in different orientation.
DO NOT change the colour of the logo.
VOF DO NOT stretch or distort the logo.
DO NOT change the placement of the logo.
DO NOT change the typeface of the logo.
Here some examples of some incorrect usages. It should be avoided in order to have a consistent image of APEC VOF.

Helvetica Neue Bold
Typography The typeface for all APEC VOF materials and signage is Helvetica Neue Regular. It is advisable to be used for subheads and for body text, and Helvetica Neue Bold for headers.
