Marxist and other present day intellectuals have a puerile obsession with class struggle

They also apparently desire to bring back Marxism from the dead, or in India, Nehruvian socialism
They may have had their successes, but their approaches have a narrow focus, and are not comprehensive enough

They do not appreciate India’s successes in the last few decades because they see it as a vindication of capitalism
They are also opposed to globalization which has benefitted developing countries
They have not appeared to have helped the rise of India and other developing countries; like old-school Marxists, they have become an obstacle to their development.
