HOUSING
The Design of Housing was a studio problem of 6th semester. Housing was to be designed for 60 3BHK apartments, 80 2BHK & 40 EWS. The design approach was from the bottom. The concept of design was developed from a square which was further divided into nine parts and then removing three to make a shape like steps . All three diagonal sqaures are the bedrooms which get proper air, light & ventilation. The design was structurally developed by using grids to make it more simple and stable by providing strength.

i a l d w o r k sho p IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) organised a lighting design in CHANDIGARH COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE , along with mondo*arc India and ISLE. The theme of the workshop was to light up the college areas with the help of different light suppliers. The motive of the workshop was to gain a breif knowledge about different types of lights used in exterior to enhance its value. We were provided the entrance porch, the exterior facade and the front to make it look more fancy at night. The designers first asked us to develop our story so that it can define our lighting scheme. The theme was Ages behind starting from the past when sculptures were there to end up with the upcoming future.
