Since each panel with stacked forms needs to be sealed from the bottom via screw. The gentle curve inwards at the bottom of the form facilitates the screw to fit in neatly without being visible. The minor change in form adds to the aesthetics of the entire space divider.

SPACE DIVIDER FOR DINING DRAWING AREA
PRODUCT COLLECTION INSPIRED BY NATURE Nature brings to us probably the largest palette of inspirations for form, function and the correlation between them. I choose a Pine cone ’Pinus Roxburghii’ as my subject. The reason was its rhythmic, balanced form. There is movement and pattern when seen from any side. It is also interesting to see how each leaf is closely bound at the bottom and slowly opens towards the top. Taking Pine Cones as my subject I have tried to understand in depth its nature of existence, its various stage of growth and tried to translate its form and surface in ceramic and glass ranging from 3D forms to 2D surface decoration.
2D SURFACE EXPLORATION ‘Motifs developed for Ceramic Mugs, inspired by Pinecone ’Pinus Roxburghii’.
2D SURFACE EXPLORATIONS Product: Tiles
MATERIAL: STONEWARE Product: Set of coasters These were created using a lazer cut stensil of the motif and stamping it on soft clay to get the desired result They were evenly dried to avoid warpage, bisque fired, Hand glazed and glaze fired at 1200ËšC.
Table lamp:
“Fibonacci in Nature” MATERIAL: Glazed Stoneware PRODUCT: Table lamp: “Fibonacci in Nature”
Wheel thrown form of the pinecone which was later handcut when in its leather hard state. The jali is cut such that it follows the double set of spirals found in tapered pinecones – one going in a clockwise direction and one in the opposite direction. It was bisque fired at 900˚C and glaze fired at 1200˚C.
I have tried to explore different ways of making a pine cone. Here I have tried to stack each unit to complete the form.

GLASS HOT PROCESS TECHNIQUE: GLASS BLOWING One of the most exciting & engaging thing to learn. I tried to take one step at a time kepping simple forms as a beginner and later tried to explore some surface and colour experiments. With every form I tried to attain a differnt outlook and yet grasp the base and possiblities within the process.

TEA BREWING SET IN TERRACOTTA Mug, lid and a strainer. MATERIAL: TERRACOTTA PROCESS: THROWING (Potter’s Wheel) Objective: To design a tea brewing set in terracotta for organic tea lovers. Opportunity: To introduce a novelty eco-friendly personalized product, appealing in form, feasible to use and carry around for people who are regular green/black tea drinkers. This product is also a step towards giving customers a push towards a healthy beverage like green tea. 1. Wheel thrown form explorations for mug. 2. Ergonomics
Final forms
Target Audience People who are health conscious and consume green tea & or organic products. Green tea lovers, age group 22 years & above who prefer green tea because of its health benifits. Target Market - Organic food product stores like I say organics, Fabindia. - Various green tea brand outlets around India - For eg. NERIKOMI MATERIAL: STONEWARE PROCESS: HAND BUILDING The name Nerikomi derives from a traditional Japanese technique of creating patterns with colored clay. Slabs of different clays or clays colored with stains or oxides, are stacked, folded, pressed into logs, sliced, and arranged to form the desired pattern. Thus numerous stacked layers appear as fine undulating lines embedded in a surrounding color. 1. Ladies- Platters 2. Bowl - 7 colour pattern achieved.
SURFACE MATERIAL: STONEWARE Treating my pieces like a canvas I have tried diffrent surface techniques with glazes.
1. Glazed Plate, Technique: Feathering 2. Salt & pepper Shakers, Technique: On Glaze painting

AGATE WARE MATERIAL: STONEWARE TECHNIQUE: MARBLING PROCESS: WHEEL THROWN
Agateware is pottery decorated with a combination of contrasting colored clays. The name is derived from the agate stone, which when sliced shows multicolored layers. This pottery technique allows for both precise and thought out patterns, and free random effects. The random and unexpected rythmic patterns peeked my interest and these works triggered my mind to think of clay compositions and oxides.

CLIENT: GOOD EARTH, GUMDROPS THEME: SIMILE SERIES with GREEN GOOSE DESIGN, NEW DELHI
I created illustrations for a kids range for Good Earth keeping my illustrations simple yet eyecatching.
busy as a bee
This concept is a fun take on the similes that are used in daily life. These playful, watercolour-based illustrations simplify learning for children and also add an element of fun. This is a minimalistic, colourful approach which helps the child memorise and associate these similes with the actual form of things.

CLIENT: GOOD EARTH, GUMDROPS THEME: UNDERWATER SERIES with GREEN GOOSE DESIGN, NEW DELHI
Marine life has an exotic appeal. It is amazing to see the beauty of aquatic animals. Kids will love this innovative, colorfully illustrated underwater series that lets them discover the fascinating underwater world. This is also a means to educating them about sea life and the creatures that live there. Some of the prints (concept generation, visualization and illustrations by me) were later developed by Gumdrops on T-shirt for kids.

"Ek Thambia Mahal", with a wing of bluish grey local stone "Pareva" features intricate sculptured pillars and panels, ornate balconies, balustrades, bracketed windows, arches and frieze of marble carvings, a veritable marvel of Rajput architecture. TREE + TRISHUL Trishul :- The weapon symbolizes empire and the irresistible force of transcendental reality. In the human body, the trishula also represents the place where the three main nadis, or energy channels (ida, pingala and shushmana) meet at the brow. The symbol is a stylised form of the trishula in the form of a tree, married with a thin clean type.

TASK : To design a logo on the occasion of its 5th Anniversary.
SUJAGI EXPRESS was my first wall painting project for the Times group owners kids room at their residence in New Dehi. The brief was to have a train theme for the room for which the cient re-constructed the room into a look alike of a railway train compartment. I thereby planned the entire look of the exterior and interior walls taking inspiration from a fairytale world. The illustrations are fun & vibrant with the use of other materials to make the train look real. Visualising a space, painting walls with a professional artist Mr. Munir from Gujarat and geting all the production work in place was a fantastic experience.
EXHIBITION POSTER: These posters were designed for the street art exhibition titled ’This is not Street Art’ held at Social space, Hauz Khaz Vilage displaying a number of works by different street artists from all around the world. Extreme Right: OGAAN wall by Alina Vergnano and me.
