FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is a Canadian immigration program that allows skilled foreign workers to apply for permanent residency in Canada. To be eligible for the FSWP, applicants must meet the minimum requirements, which include a certain level of language proficiency in either English or French, at least one year of work experience in a skilled occupation, and a minimum level of education, among other criteria. The six factors for the selection process are:

1. Language Skills Test (Maximum of 28 Points)

2. Work Experience (Maximum of 15 Points)

3. Adaptability of Candidate (Maximum of 10 Points)

4. Arranged Employment in Canada (Maximum of 10 Points)

5. Education of Immigrant (Maximum of 25 Points)

6. Age of the applier (Maximum of 10 Points)
