Brief: Designing an Student activity center in the zone of VNIT , With the site area of 13.25 and dense vegetation on site, major aim for the design was to retain as much vegetation as possible and develop a design that responds to the students and users, and became a hub of interaction between human, nature and built mass.

SITE : Site is located in the center of VNIT campus, Nagpur. Denoted with yellow color.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT: The sections are focusing on how people can interact with each other with in and around a built and non built environment. Conncetion between different activity places and human’s invovment.

FORM DEVELOPMENT: The cicular form will creat an contrusting structure with the existing kibear and recrangular form and make different identity and impression in the campus.

Brief: An Interior Design solution is to be provided for a luxurious kitchen in a farmhouse . The entire area functions as a kitchen as well as dining space for a family of 810 people of different age groups. Contemporary Design Feature: Para vivir (to live). To feel alive is to feel your surroundings. To feel your surroundings, you need your senses to be active. A blend of modern-day comfort and experiencing nature within doors is the soul of this design.

CONCEPT:

A

Circulation of kitchen space and dinning space should not interact with the circulation with the other activities. L-shaped layout.This allows for more work space,less through division of multiple work sites. Refrigarator placed in a way that can be accessible from both kitchen and dinning space. The material and colour palette used, being earthy provide a sense of relaxation to its users. Controlled visual transparency between indoor and outdoor, an open kitchen, view of nature, minimal design elements, flora, subtle colour palette are the ways by which this design tries to achieve its intention.

Brief: Construct a roof over stage of 20m x 10m by using short length timber, by providing joinery details and and ovber all design function. Roof type opted: lamella roofing: It is the form of curved grid system, which utilizes a large number of identical members called lamella. Each lamella has 2 bays in length and overlapping the adjacent lamella to form a continuous grillage available from a range of 0.5m- 2m widths available- 100mm, 120mm, 150mm thickness- 20,25,40,50 mm 150x200 mm brassumer running along the wall length
