Design Description

So when I was waiting for the return trip to board the boat at dusk, I saw the sparkling sunset on the water in the west, which produced the same sense of distance from the “island” as when I came, just like the description in “Island Bookstore”.

Outside, you can admire the vastness of the lake; Inside, you can feel the profundity of the sky, and the emotions of the outlying islands are pushed to a climax.

I t aims to explore how the pressure of daily life in modern cities can make people breathless and cause suffering. People ignore mental stress relief and recovery. Therefore, a space that can teach people to heal themselves is particularly important. By recording these emotions, forms and people's reactions under these emotions, the form of the building is extended through these reactions. Ease the sensory experience of individuals with emotional problems by creating a pleasant and Intriguing atmosphere. Designed to include interactive spaces, viewing platforms and solitude rooms, the design aims to provide anxious individuals with the opportunity to escape crowded environments and serve as “seeking” points to calm the mind and body.

Emotional space

So in this design, I first analyzed the six most common emotions in people’s lives by searching for information. Then I analyzed and generated a variety of two-dimensional plane forms from various human emotions, and performed Boolean commands, extrusion commands, transformations, etc. to form different three-dimensional forms.

I n life, people often differ in various emotions, but the current way of recording emotions is relatively limited. People are unable to record one's emotions intuitively. So in this design, I first analyzed people by searching for information.

A variety of spaces will appear in these emotional forms. It is an architectural language. It transfers the content of emotions into the components and construction of the building It serves as an architectural element to form the building. , created by six emotional spaces corresponding to emotions. Under the fast-paced lifestyle, what kind of happiness and success concepts do we "people" need to maintain our social development? Perhaps the interactive games in the exhibition hall space here can find the answer, and the creative design results of their interaction can also be stored.

By recombining and defining space, intervening in people's behaviorMethod, promoting the generation of new behavioral patterns. To influence people's mindsThe processing mode of emotional problems is based on individuals and promotes the overall societyImproving the atmosphere. During this process, based on my observations of the surrounding populationObserving and discovering mental health issues is not to be underestimated.

As a building more looks like an art installation, the “Emotional Tower” has several different states.

When the screen is turned off during the day, it presents a translucent and lightweight landscape tower floating on the ground when it shows works of art in the evening and at night, it is a digital art museum where the screen is deconstructed to create visual interaction with people

In China, cities are booming, and more people than before. Walking along the streets of the city, all you see are towering skyscrapers. You'll find some small landscapes, but even beneath them, people are glued to their phones. The connection between man and nature is like zero. If you want to relax in nature, you'll have to spend a few hours to go to the big park. That’s not very feasible in today’s fast-paced life, right? That's why I wanted to create a space where people can quickly connect with nature.

This project presented me with some challenges, such as considering the limited urban space and the speed at which people arrive in the city. My building can't take up a lot of space, but I want it to be a place where you feel connected to nature. I did a lot of research and examined how towers in the Middle East were constructed. The idea of plants filtering rainwater and using drip irrigation gets my creative juices flowing.
