1. Petersen Arboretum has a mission “to foster a connection between our community and the natural world through learning, stewardship and appreciation of the Alpine ecosystems.” This arboretum features a covered bridge, milking barn, and collection of trees from all over the state and country.

2. Lambert Park features 255 acres and is Alpine’s largest park offering trails for horses, mountain biking, and hiking. There are also designated camping sites available.

3. Box Elder Peak Trail is a 11.4 mile loop which is also open to dogs and horses.

4. Burgess Park is a 21-acre park which includes sand volleyball, tennis and basketball courts as well as 5 baseball diamonds and a 0.69 acre paved trail.

5. Creekside Park is a 24-acre park with a splash pad, walking trails, picnic pavilions, and courts for basketball, tennis and volleyball.

6. Historic Moyle Park includes two acres with playgrounds, a Native American fort, museum and picnic area.

7. Horsetail Falls is a 4.6 mile hiking trail which features a waterfall.

8. American Fork Canyon is well known for the Timanogos Cave National monument and offers outdoor enthusiasts numerous options for climbing, biking, swimming, hiking and camping.

9. Silicone Slopes is a short 13 minutes away by car. This area of Lehi is home to dozens of tech start-ups and is recognized as an emerging force in the technology sector.
