Movies And Series Worth Watching During the Lockdown - Movies - 1. All The Bright Places –Based on the book written by the author Jennifer Niven, this movie deals with some major mental health issues in a teenager’s life; from dealing with the loss of a loved one to the struggles of being a bipolar. But looking at the bright side it shows as the power of love to the fragile teen world. I would like to put a trigger warning on this one if you have trouble processing the idea of suicide.
2. The Willoughbys –One of the newest releases on Netflix is this animated movie; based on the lives of four siblings who have quite an unusual pair of parents. In order to free themselves from their parents they plan to become orphans by sending their parents off for a vacation in some of the deadliest places. Do you think they will be able to find love and care? To answer that you should definitely watch the movie!
3. The Lovebirds –Looking for a rom-com to enjoy after your online class? Then I highly recommend this movie! Filled with laughter, bad decisions and a murder I do think you will not regret watching The Lovebirds!
Series - 1. Never Have I Ever –The brand new sitcom by Mindy Kaling follows the life of an Indian-American teenager girl is the perfect watch if you want to laugh and learn both at the same time. School-days memories, friendship and most importantly family bonding, this show cover almost all of the aspects of a teenage life.
2. I Am Not Okay With This –Superpowers and high-school life makes this TV series my new favorite comedy-drama of 2020! A refreshing and relatable watch as we learn teen super hero also struggles to fit in. Exploring her sexuality, dealing with family tensions and being expected to pass out with good grades, comes another bump on the road with a gift of power.
