5 MILES of Smiles!

If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely

Carol Eckert, a true Wildwood angel, turned 80 on February 2, 2022. She has been coming to Wildwood all of her life and loves reading the Sun. Her childhood house, located on 7th & New York, is still here, but her family now has a house in West Wildwood.

Amber dreamed of one day owning a place in her favorite shore town. Realizing that dream, Amber, pictured here with her twin boys Zachary and Xavier, began their 8th birthday by watching the sunrise on their very first morning waking up in their new, North Wildwood beach house, where they happily spend time year-round. Dreams really do come true and are made even sweeter when shared by the sea…

DR. RAYMOND & MARY MAROTTA This doctor knows that the secret to healthy living is a sunrise on the seawall. . . because the benefits of a morning walk can last the whole day long!

Marie Banning-Yacovelli was completely star-struck as she got her picture taken with Gigi on “Sunny” the Tram car

Irma Lavella with singer Johnny Ray at a dinner theater in N. Wildwood in the early 1950s. She is cousin to Steve Murray and they spent their summers on 18th St. at their grandparents house. Both Irma and Steve’s moms were sisters who were professional lounge singers. Look for more old photos sent in by Steve in the next issue due out July 7th.
