River FLOAT Trips Located on the Suncadia property, the beautiful, crystal clear Yakima River is just moments away from the Lodge. The 10 mile scenic rafting trip takes about three to four hours and is available daily. Perfect for families and groups. Trips include a streamside grilled sockeye salmon lunch with appetizers, dessert, and beverages. Consider a morning trip and have our omelet bar breakfast on the river or raft a little later in the day and have dinner. River Float (Lunch) Price: $360, for three people. Each additional person $120.

BIKEs Enjoy 10+ miles of paved paths and countless miles of scenic trails to explore throughout Suncadia. We have a variety of recreational mountain bikes, cruisers, youth bikes, trailers, push scooters and jogging strollers.

Walk & Wade Guided Fly Fishing Fly fish the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides. Very much an introduction to the great sport of fly fishing, your guide will provide instruction on casting, fly fishing techniques, entomology, fly patterns, and reading water. Excursions depart from the Lodge at Suncadia, include all gear, supplies, transportation, and can be scheduled daily. *A fishing license is necessary. Price: $195 for one to three people, for 2 hours. Each additional hour $95

Guided Fly Fishing Drift Trips

Travel where Eastern Washington high desert terrain meets the lovely snow-capped vistas of the northern Cascade Range. Take a ride into the wild on well-maintained trails, through beautiful pine forests populated with elk, deer, and if you’re lucky - the occasional bobcat. The scenery opens up to breathtaking, panoramic views of snowcapped Mt. Stewart. *Must be 16+ with a valid driver’s license.

The best way to experience fly fishing, is from a drift boat on the Yakima River.. Fly fishing experience is not necessary – beginners are welcomed. The trips include all gear, fly fishing supplies, lunch (full day), beverages, transportation from Suncadia, and can be booked daily. Each drift boat can accommodate up to two anglers.

Horseback Riding Grab your boots and head to the corrals, today is a perfect day for a trail ride! Join our guides and gentle, trail-wise horses for a classic ride through the open forest and woodland trails of Suncadia. BIG DIRTY run

Here’s the Dirty on the Run. The Big Dirty is definitely NOT your average 5K, this is a run for the adventuresome spirit. Participants run, walk, crawl, and climb through our 5k-ish course, which winds through the muddy backwoods trails of Suncadia’s Nelson Preserve neighborhood and includes some new obstacles this year. You will be pushed to your dirty limit and at the end of the race through a muddy finish. Once you cross the finish line you will receive a cold glass of beer (or root beer for the little ones)!
