ICE SKATING RINK

Winter outdoor ice skating under the crisp winter sun or majestic evening stars, available for all ages. Warm yourself by the fire pit while sipping hot chocolate or making s’mores to round out your winter memories. Discount if you bring your own skates. Waiver required for all participation.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKI & SNOWSHOE RENTALS

Enjoy Suncadia’s beautiful property while exploring several miles of groomed trails on a pair of cross-country skis or snowshoes. Trails are groomed regularly, and maps are available for your convenience.

SNOWSHOE & BREW TOURS

Bundle up and head out on a fun-filled, energetic 4-mile snowshoe trek to Roslyn, WA. Your guide will take you through Suncadia’s beautiful, frosted forest and Nelson Farm, past the Historic Roslyn Cemetery, and then onto the quirky coal mining town of Roslyn, WA. We will stop at Washington’s oldest continuously operating saloon, The Brick Tavern, to quench our thirst with local crafted brews before heading back to the resort. PRICE: $69 per person. Minimum of 4 people. A 24% service charge is added to all tours.

INTRODUCTION TO CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

New to cross-country skiing and want some help starting out? This class will give you the basic skills necessary to comfortably ski on flat or slightly hilly terrain. On-snow classes will demonstrate skill progression as well as discuss how to dress properly for skiing and the different types of skis available. 90-minute sessions include all equipment, instruction, and water. Please wear warm non-cotton clothing, non-cotton socks, gloves and hat. Ages 8+ only.

PRICE: $185 for groups of 3 or less, plus $65.00 per person over 3. Limit 10 people per group.

GUIDED CROSS-COUNTRY SKI TOURS

Explore Suncadia’s surrounding trails and bask in the pristine winter scenery. Tours are great for all skill levels and last about 3 hours. All necessary equipment and bottled water will be provided. Please dress in layers and bring any extra hats, gloves, or snacks in a small pack. Ages 10+, custom tours are available for families with younger children.

PRICE: $195 for groups of 3 or less, $59 each additional person. Limit 8 per group.

INTRODUCTION TO SNOWSHOEING

This adventure is geared toward families or those new to snowshoeing looking for a gentle tour and a fun way to explore Suncadia during the winter months. Snowshoeing is easy, great exercise and fun for adults and kids alike. Your guide will teach you the basics of using snowshoes on a 1-to-1.5-hour tour. Please dress in warm, non-cotton clothing and wear warm waterproof boots or shoes. Snowshoes, poles and water will be provided.

PRICE: $155 for groups of 3 or less plus $50/per person over 3. Limit 10 people per group.

OFF-PROPERTY SNOWSHOE TOURS

Snowshoeing is one of the fastest growing winter sports in the world; it’s easy, great exercise, and a fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Join us while we explore the beauty of Cle Elum and Roslyn on a guided snowshoe tour customized to suite your ability and fitness level. Tours last about 3 hours, equipment and bottled water are provided. Please dress in layers and bring any extra hats, gloves, or snacks in a small pack. Ages 8+ only.

PRICE: $160 for groups of 3 or less, $50 each additional person. Limit 10 per group.

SNOWMOBILE TOURS

A Motortoys snowmobile trip is a fantastic way to show appreciation to your family, friends, clients, or employees. We offer snowmobile tours that are both safe and informative. Enjoy your day with our professional snowmobile guides on a 1-hour or 2-hour tour. Finish your trip in our hospitality trailer filled with snacks and warm drinks. Our goal is to show you the beauty of Washington’s back country; our views are spectacular! Shuttle transportation and full-face helmets provided. Please dress for a day in the snow, including a water resistant/waterproof coat, pants, boots, and gloves. 4 riders minimum per tour. Reservations required. INTRO TO WINTER FLY FISHING

Enjoy fishing the Yakima River on a guided drift trip. This 3-hour excursion departs from The Lodge at Suncadia and includes transportation and all necessary equipment, supplies, fishing licenses and beverages. Guests can bring snacks and beverages as well if they choose. Each boat accommodates 1-2 anglers. Minimum: One person. Maximum: Two guests/guide. Available anytime of day, 7 days a week. GUIDED WINTER FLY FISHING FLOAT TRIPS

The best way to experience some great winter fly fishing on the Yakima River is floating in a drift boat. The winter fly fishing can be outstanding with low river flows and crystal-clear water. Trips last 4-5 hours or 8 hours and include a shuttle, equipment, supplies, waders and boots. Reservations required. Please contact the concierge at 509-649-6461.
