Staying true to its historical roots, the once working Nelson Dairy Farm still has its original farmhouse, barn, cabin and stables that were erected in the late 1890s. Guests and members can arrive at Nelson Farm Pool’s check-in lobby where men’s and women’s restrooms, changing rooms, and an exterior open-air shower and locker are located. This pool facility is open seasonally beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. 6

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

RI V E R RA F TI NG TRI PS River raft in a local river close to the Suncadia property. River rafting is a great activity for families and groups. This 10-mile scenic trip has a few good rapids and will be the highlight of your visit. Trips include a 3-hour trip down the river, local craft beer, Washington wine, water, soda, diet soda, bottled water, and sparkling water. An amazing charcuterie platter can be added for an additional cost. Trips can be scheduled any day, June 1-August 31, at 9am or 2pm. Transportation to and from The Lodge at Suncadia is provided. PRICE: $125 per person (3 person minimum)

G UI DED FLY-FI SH I N G DRI F T T RI PS The best way to experience fly fishing is from a drift boat on the Yakima River, Washington’s only Blue-Ribbon trout stream for rainbow and west slope cutthroat trout. Trips include all gear, supplies, lunch (full day trips only), beverages and transportation to and from The Lodge at Suncadia. Trips are available at any time during the week. Experience is not necessary – beginners are welcome. A fishing license is necessary and can be included (for an additional fee). PRICE: Full Day (8 hours): $600 for 1-2 people | Half Day(4-5 hours): $500 for 1-2 people

I N TRO TO FLY FI SH I NG Fly fish the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides. Your guide will provide instruction on casting, fly fishing techniques, entomology, fly patterns, and reading water. Trips include all gear, supplies, and transportation to and from The Lodge at Suncadia. Trips can be scheduled at any time during the week. A fishing license is necessary and can be included.
