Our Story...

Since 2019, The Billtown Blues Association has offered camping for our patrons and it has become a fan favorite. For people who like live music, and like to camp, it is a perfect combination for a great weekend. The camaraderie developed during the festival weekend keeps growing and more and more friendships are formed each year.

• Ticket prices vary by type of camping desired. For the car/tent camper, we offer an approximately 25’ x 25’ flat space within a ¾ acre grassy field where one can set up a tent and park a vehicle or, simply camp out of your vehicle. If that space fills up, there is an additional ½ acre overflow area that is flat and grassy. While power is not guaranteed to every camper in this section, there are some scattered 120 VAC/20amp receptacles within a reasonable distance if you need to camp with your CPAP machine or other medical device. There are modern showers and bathrooms within walking distance to these campsites. This area is a short walk to the music area.

• RV camping is adjacent to the car/tent camping area and is even closer to the music area. Each approximately 25’ x 40’ site is on level grassy ground and has both power and water hookups included in the ticket fees. This 4-acre site can contain at least 100 RV’s and an overflow area is also available if needed. A sewage dumping station is not on site but a pumping service is available on Sunday morning for a $25 fee if one chooses to use that service. Reservations need to be made prior for the service. Modern showers and bathrooms are available in the RV camping area. Showers are $0.50 per cycle, so bring quarters.

• In the Spring of 2022, a significant amount of money and effort was spent on upgrading the power facilities within the campground area. Modern receptacles with a choice of 120VAC, 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp facilities are available to each site. In a few instances, an extension cable may be required. Typically, a 50’ hose is adequate for reaching the nearest water faucet.

• Campfires are allowed in the camping area but only within a fire ring, and not open burning. All fires must be totally extinguished whenever the site is unoccupied.

• Well-behaved dogs are also allowed in the campground area but not in the music area*. All dogs must be on a short 6’ leash or inside a pet friendly fenced in area adjacent to the camper. While the campsite is unattended, all dogs must be inside a climate controlled RV. No exceptions. All dogs must have all Veterinary documents showing proof of all current shots and vaccinations. Any owners who do not provide those documents when asked will not be allowed to enter the campground. A separate dog walking area is provided near the RV side of the park.

* Official Certified Service Dogs are permitted in the music area but they must be wearing their official credentialed garments and have the certification documents with their handlers at all times. Those documents will be checked at the gate. No exceptions. For any dog that becomes a problem during their stay, we have arrangements with Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic, approximately 6 miles away, for boarding services. Those arrangements must be made between the owner and Wolf Run.

• This year, Heier’s Home Cooking will be offering breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6:00am until 10:00am in the Muncy Bank Pavilion. They have Breakfast Sandwiches, Northern Waffles, Pancakes, and breakfast drinks all at a reasonable price.

• Campers may arrive on Friday and start lining up at 12:30 PM to gain entry to the campgrounds. For an additional $35 fee, they can arrive on Thursday between 3:00PM and 9:00PM to get a jump on the weekend and kick back and relax until the music starts at 6:00PM on Friday. Many folks choose to do this and socialize for the additional day.

• Only paid campers will be allowed access to the campground areas. No guests will be permitted through the gate between the music and camping areas. This gate is monitored by staff volunteers to ensure the security of the campgrounds.
