The Sun Catcher ‘Tis The Season Snowbird season that is. What a warm welcome we had in November as the temperature went into the 90’s. Several late blooms on the trees and happy campers at the pools., make for a great start to fun times ahead. Thank you to all who attended our Pickleball Grand Opening. We enjoyed presenting our new courts. If you are interested in learning to play you can sign-up for lessons in the Activity Office, we have paddles and balls available for check out at the Front Desk. We would also like to invite any person interested in joining the newly forming Pickleball committee. You can sign-up on December’s volunteer sheet posted in the Activity Office after December 1, 2012. Everyone is invited to spend Christmas Dinner with your extended family here at Golden Village. The resort will provide the Hams and you bring a dish to share. You can sign-up for Christmas Dinner in the Activity Office.

GVP Food Drive Parade Saturday, December 08. Parade will begin at 9:00am. Donations will be awarded to the Community Pantry to assist local families. A special thank you to the Cruisen A’s and GVP volunteers. Anyone who would like to dress up and join the fun is welcome .

Dog Park FYI The double gate chamber is their to help your dog enter the unleashed area with confidence. Please take leash off before entering the dog park. Otherwise your dog may feel helpless as the other dogs come to sniff Hello!

Please help keep rising refuse costs down by disposing all recyclables in the proper receptacles. Glass, plastic, aluminum, tin and paper can be mixed. Please do not include perishable trash items. For weekly site pick up put in a separate bag. At the common refuse area use bins provided. Here is a more complete list from CR&R: Glass, including:
