71 Minutes Elapsed, Two Second Difference Monday evening June 20, Sandy Macmillan joined the crew of J/111-14 "Survenant" sailing out of YCQ for a club race on the St.Lawrence River. On the J/111-23 "Volteface" Jim Snair sailed with her crew. The race started at 1800h local and featured wind ranges of 5-10knots and river crossing with as much as 4-5 knot currents. Five legs of racing. Three spinnaker sets. Three lead changes. 71 Minutes later, we had a winner - call either of us and find out which boat won - by 2 seconds! Both crews were smiling, laughing and very sweaty!
