GONE SAILIN' We offloaded this J/111 on Friday Oct 22 and we went sailin' on Oct 26. We're speed testing and sail testing with North Sails over the next two weeks. We're sailing only with a SpeedPuck and a compass this week but we hit 8.9kn in sub 10kn conditions on day 1. Over the next two weeks sailors from as far away as St.John's, NL and Quebec City will be going sailing with us. From her hollow stainless fin/lead tipped keel to her carbon Hall nanotube mast, this boat is all about speed. We'll be sailing in Halifax Harbour until November 5th - call us if you want to book a spot onboard or to drop off a deposit for your own J/111 speedster. We're taking reservations for 2012 spots now! That's not a typo...yes, we are sold out for 2011.

We know these boats, we know them well. In the local sailing community they enjoy a great reputation as being well built and comfortable at sea or at anchor. At least three local CS36's are owned by "industry types" which speaks volumes to us.
