J/95 wins Sail Magazine Award The J/95 was recently named the winner of the Performance category of Sail's 2010 Best Boats Awards. The judging took place at the Annapolis Boatshow and the J/95 beat out the Beneteau First 40, Summit 35, J/97 and several others. This is a nice feather in the cap and we congratulate and thank everyone who has supported the program with their energy and orders. In other J/95 news, hull #6 is loading on a ship today to England, where she'll will be displayed at the London Show (early January) before being commissioned for her new owner. Hull #8 was ordered by J Lane Yachting of Switzerland for a former X362 owner who plans to sail on Lake Constance. If you visit the factory in the next month, you'll notice that the beam has been reduced by 50mm so that the boat fits within the 3 meter beam restriction of most marina slips.
Next Available J/111 is #14 Twelve slots are spoken for by twelve different dealers in five countries. Hull #14 is currently slated for December 2010 completion. This is a great start and really just the tip of the iceberg considering the record inquiry levels we've seen on this model since the online announcement in mid October. We are expecting to have specifications and pricing within two weeks.
