D Day 2: Lafayette, LA Journey to Lafayette, LA visiting Houmas House, one of the historic crown jewel plantations, along the way. Enjoy lunch in the tradition of Old Louisiana dining before exploring the gardens and this antebellum mansion. Enjoy this evening in historic downtown Lafayette, after checking into our hotel for the next two nights. B, L Day 3: “The Heart of Acadiana” Some like it hot! Day 4: Washington DC This morning, we will visit the “Newseum”, a multimedia exploration of the importance and history of journalism in America. Since it’s opening in 2008, the Newseum has become a “must-see” attraction on the Washington DC museum circuit. Afterwards, we will spend ample time at the Smithsonian, the world’s largest museum complex so you can visit your favorite museum. This evening, after dinner, join us for a drive by the memorials lit in their evening grandeur! B, D

Day 1: Northern MS A mid-day departure begins our journey south, as you anticipate a glimpse into the past in this world of plantations, antebellum mansions, and fragrant magnolia gardens. D Day 2: Natchez, MS After spending the night in northern Mississippi travel to Natchez MS, home to more beautifully ,preserved and restored antebellum mansions than any other city in the South. Each spring the Natchez Pilgrimage brings to life the history, culture, and customs of the antebellum South. A tour through the historic streets reveals a living museum and an unforgettable visit into the past! In the evening dine at the Carriage House, famous for its Southern Cuisine, and enjoy a performance of Southern Exposure, an amusing, warm-hearted spoof of Pilgrimage and Southern pride in its old families. B, D Day 3: Frogmore Plantation Visit Stanton Hall, an imposing Classic Greek Revival home dating to 1857. D Day 2: Savannah, GA It’s off to the “Old South” and “Georgia’s First City” as Savannah welcomes us with southern hospitality. Upon arrival we are off to experience a family style dinner at a local favorite restaurant. Then visit the elegant Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace all glittering in low light typical of the gaslight era. As you let your imagination transport you back to 1886, you will learn of that era and of the ghost stories that have been passed down for generations in the Gordon family! Afterwards check into our home for the next 2 nights, the Hampton Inn, Historic District. B, D Day 3: Savannah, GA Board an open-air trolley to tour this enchanting and alluring Southern town where we’ll find amazing architecture, spooky cemeteries and rich history. We travel north through the grasslands and prairies of southern Alberta with the Canadian Rockies looming to our left before turning west towards Canmore and the edge of Banff National Park for our overnight stay. B Day 5: Lake Louis, the Icefield Parkway, Jasper Today we spend the day amidst the majestic Canadian Rockies visiting stunning Lake Louise, Peyto Lake and the Athabasca Falls as we travel through Banff National Park and into Jasper National Park on the icefield parkway to Jasper for a 2-night stay. B Day 6: Maligne Lake Enjoy the beautiful drive through Maligne Canyon to Maligne Lake, second largest glacial lake in the world, where we board our excursion boat for a scenic cruise to Spirit Island and take a leisurely walk on a lake trail. B Day 7: Fort St. John, British Columbia As we travel north we officially begin our travels on the Alaska Highway in the town of Dawson Creek, British Columbia with a photo stop and visit of the interpretive center and taking a loop over part of

From the hills and hollows, through the rolling bluegrass of the heartland to spectacular lakes, the beautiful state of Kentucky has much to offer. A mid-day departure takes us to Louisville KY. D (onboard plane) Day 2: Rothenburg, Germany Arrive in Frankfurt and board our luxury coach for the short drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This medieval city is one of only a few that exist in Germany that still have their entire medieval defensive wall intact. Rothenburg also has a Christmas market, and after touring the city on a short walk with a local guide to learn its history, we will have time to enjoy a smaller and quaint market. You will want to stop to visit Käthe Wohlfahrt’s Christkindlmarkt, an enormous Christmas shop which is open year-round. B (onboard plane) Day 3: Nurnburg, Germany In the past century, Nürnberg has dark ties to the Nazi party, and was the scene of the war trials held by allied forces. In more modern times it has a much brighter reputation as the site of the best Christmas markets in Germany. Dozens and dozens of stands which are decorated for the season are set in the city center square, with craftsmen that have handmade a large variety of goods to sell. Some stands are cooking sausages and others are warming Glühwein, a mix of red wine and spices. We return Rothenburg for overnight. B, D Day 4: Strasbourg, France After breakfast we depart for Strasbourg, France where we tour the Cathedral of Strasbourg, St. Thomas’s Church, and the University, the Astronomical clock and the historic “La Petite Strasbourg” quarter. Our highlight will be exploring Strasbourg’s famous Christmas market around its impressive cathedral since 1570! While we are walking through the city, we see the work of the talented craftsmen, and the Bredle Market where we may taste little delicious cakes traditionally prepared during the advent period. Day 9: Salzburg After breakfast this morning, we will tour a salt mine. We will don miners garb, and slide our way underground for a truly fun and educational experience. In the afternoon we will return to Salzburg for some free time to explore Salzburg’s Christmas market. Tonight we have dinner on our own. B Day 10: Munich, Germany Travel to Munich, where we will meet a local guide and learn about the history and highlights of the city. Then have one last opportunity to explore a Christmas market, or opt to visit one of the many world-class museums on your own. Tonight we dine at Weihenstephan Brewery, a brewery started one thousand years ago by monks. B, D Day 11: Return flight home This morning we say ‘Auf Wiederseh’n’ to Germany as we catch our return flight home. B

New Orleans Cajun Christmas
Day 1: Memphis, TN Traveling south we arrive in Memphis, TN and visit Graceland, all decorated like Elvis would have years ago. Even if you are not an Elvis fan, this Memphis icon is sure to draw a Christmas smile. Afterwards check in to the AAA-four diamond Peabody Hotel for an overnight stay. Watch the five North American mallards, also known as the famous “Peabody Ducks” march to the Grand Lobby in a tradition dating back to 1933. D Day 2: New Orleans Enjoy a leisurely morning to enjoy the amenities of the beautiful Peabody Hotel before we depart for New Orleans to celebrate Christmas Cajun style! First we check into our home for the next three nights, the Drury Inn & Suites near the French Quarter before we enjoy a Reveillon dinner at a local restaurant. Reveillon dinners originated in France but became a Cajun tradition; they were originally made on Christmas Eve after midnight mass. After dinner visit the Celebration in the Oaks, a beautiful wonderland of holiday lights held under century-old oaks trees. B, D Day 3: The French Quarter Spend the morning with a local guide as we explore New Orleans and its unique and colorful heritage. Enjoy jazz music as we have lunch at the world-famous Court of Two Sisters. Afterwards
explore the French Quarter area on your own and browse the shops, boutiques and grab a traditional beignet from the original Café du Monde. This evening visit the historic St. Louis Cathedral for one of their evening Christmas choir concerts where you will be serenaded by beautiful holiday music. B, L, Hot apps Day 4: WWII Museum Explore The National WWII Museum, founded by noted writer and historian Stephen E. Ambrose. Experience the museum’s signature cinematic film “Beyond All Boundaries”, the tale of the journey from Pearl Harbor to Victory. After lunch we join the Victory Belles vocal trio, who travel the globe delighting audiences with their spirited performances, as they sing all your favorite songs of the season. B, L, Hot Apps. Day 5: Natchez, MS Visit Natchez, MS, home to more beautifully preserved and restored antebellum mansions than any other city in the south. Visit Stanton Hall, a National Historic Landmark that was built in 1857 before we enjoy lunch at the Carriage House, famous for its Southern Cuisine, on the ground of the Hall. Policies Cancellations Our refund policy for cancellations varies according to the type of tour. Your deposit is fully refundable up to the final payment due date. On any cancellation made after final payment is due, we reserve the right to withhold monies for non-refundable expenses. All motorcoach: Refund up to the day of departure for medical reasons except for non-refundable expenses to us. Many hotels, restaurants & activities require prepayment. Fly/Coach: The motorcoach portion of the tour is fully refundable (except for nonrefundable expenses incurred by us) up to the day before departure for medical reasons. The refund of the flight portion of the cost is non-refundable. Cruise and International tours: Refund for cancellation of cruises and international tours depend on the cruise line or tour operator. Please call for questions on a specific cruise or tour. Final Payment Your final payment is due 30 days before departure for an all-motorcoach tour and 60 days before departure for tours involving air unless otherwise noted. One-day tour payments are due in full upon reservation. Please call us in reference to cruise payment deadlines. Tour Price Inclusions (and tipping policy) The price of the tour includes all attractions, lodging, motorcoach transportation, breakfast and dinner daily (unless noted otherwise), and tips for hotel, airport, and restaurant personnel. If the tour involves air travel, the cost of the ticket is included unless otherwise noted. Some airlines charge for checked baggage and that is not included in the tour price. Tips for the driver, tour managers, and step-on guides are left to the discretion of the traveler and should be in accordance with services received. Typical gratuities for tour manager and driver are $3-$5 per person, per day. Trip Insurance For 2 main reasons we highly recommend the purchase of trip insurance and can provide information on Berkley Insurance: 1) Trip interruption – There are circumstances that can prevent passengers from fully participating in a tour and may require an early departure or extended stay. For example, if a passenger suffers an injury that prevents the traveler from
continuing on the tour, insurance will cover the cost of the extended stay, the cost of transportation home and the value of the missed tour (subject to claim submission and acceptance by Berkley Insurance). If you do not have insurance, you will personally incur these costs and it can be very expensive. 2) Trip cancellation - If you are forced to cancel a tour for medical reasons (for you or an immediate family member), having insurance ensures a complete refund of monies paid (except for the cost of insurance). Sunrise cannot guarantee this because there are times when monies are paid on your behalf prior to departure. Pick-up points For each trip, we determine the pick-up points based on point requests. We have pick-up points to service the north, west, south and central areas of St. Louis metropolitan area and St. Charles and Illinois. All pick-up points allow parking for your vehicle. Sunrise’ pick up point partners offer the use of parking spaces during tour as a courtesy to Sunrise travelers. Neither Sunrise Tours nor parking lot owners assume responsibility for incidents occurring to parked cars. You will be notified of which pick-ups we are using for your tour in a letter about 2 weeks prior to departure. If you would like to stay overnight before leaving on the tour, we can provide a hotel room at some of our pick-ups for a reduced rate. If our routing allows, we may pick up along the way in outlying areas. Identification A passport is required on any tour that leaves the United States, including Canada. Photo ID’s are required on all fly tours and recommended on all tours. Singles Requesting Roommates If you would like to go on tour with us, but do not have a roommate for a specific trip, let us know and we will match you with someone else (same sex of course). Just let us know at least 60 days before departure and we will room you with another traveler at the double rate. If there is no roommate available on the tour you request, you will still only have to pay the price of a double. If you decline the roommate assigned, you will be responsible for the single supplement. Of course, if you prefer to travel individually, you can still sign up for the single fare. This offer is not valid on cruises, and some select tours. Method of Payments
For deposits we accept checks or cash. For final payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, check or cash. Seating on the Motorcoach Seating is assigned and will be rotated on a daily basis. Special seating requests are honored on the basis of availability. Paying the single fare does NOT ensure you will have a seat to yourself on the coach, it only ensures you a room by yourself. Responsibility Sunrise Tours is not responsible for any injury, delay, loss or accident due to any act or negligence on the part of any person or company rendering services on any of our tours. We reserve the right to change any itinerary. After You Book A Tour... After you have booked a tour and we have received your deposit, the following is a schedule of correspondences: 1) confirmation of deposit received 2) your final payment is due 30 days before departure for an all-motorcoach tour or 60 days before departure for tours involving air (please note you will NOT receive an invoice when final payment is due) 3) you will receive a letter about 2-3 weeks prior to departure that will include your luggage tags and important details such as pick-up times and locations, hotel phone #’s, what to bring etc..It will also include a detailed itinerary (subject to change). Please bring this with you on tour. Groups 1) On scheduled trips, we provide 1 complimentary tour for 20 paid passsengers, or a 5% commission for fundraising efforts. 2) Have an idea? Let us know. We will create a trip just for your groups’ interest and budget. 3) You don’t have to “fill the bus”, because all of our scheduled tours are open to any number of members. If 10 members sign up for any scheduled trip, we come to your location in the St. Louis metro area, pick them up, and show them a great time. Pictures By signing up for and participating in a tour, you are agreeing to have any pictures taken on tour published in Sunrise Tours printed or web material. If you do not wish to have your picture used in any form by Sunrise Tours, please notify us prior to traveling.
