flight Allegiant returns to making dreams come true

Allegiant is built around the idea that travel should be accessible to everyone. That philosophy is at the heart of our national partnership with Make-A-Wish® , the nonprofit organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children facing critical illnesses. Wishes not only help hope and joy to shine through the toughest of circumstances, but can also make a real difference in improving health outcomes for many children.

About 77 percent of those wishes involve travel, and since 2012 Allegiant has provided free, nonstop flights for nearly 2,000 wish kids and their families to reach dream destinations across the country — from Florida and California theme parks to sports events, concerts and celebrations in New York and Las Vegas.

We’ve also been honored to help design and host special wishes, including a visit to Allegiant’s west coast training center, where prospective pilot Eric flew a full-motion professional flight simulator, and where honorary flight attendant, 5 year-old SJ, handed out snacks to his fellow passengers during his wish trip to Orlando.

When the pandemic delayed the fulfillment of wishes involving air travel, Allegiant team members stepped in to help fill the void. Pilots and flight attendants delivered messages of hope and gifts of encouragement to the homes of wish kids in Las Vegas. Administrative staff helped with a functional and beautiful bedroom makeover for 9 year-old wish kid Annay. And, across the country, hundreds of team members participated in “virtual” walks and fundraisers during this most unusual year.

This fall, our team will once again welcome wish kids on board Allegiant flights as they resume travel to fulfill their wishes. You, too, can help support MakeA-Wish and their important mission during your flight. For every purchase of a specially-branded Wingz Kids Snack Pack, Allegiant will donate $1 toward making even more wishes come true.
