Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. psalm

Greetings and Merry Christmas from the Music Ministry of Auburn United Methodist Church. We are thrilled to announce our fifth annual Christmas Music Series which is provided as a gift to our community each year. These special concerts are all made possible through the generous gifts of private individuals and businesses to the Designated Music Fund at Auburn UMC. What a joy it is to bring music of this quality to our church and community which brings a rare note of harmony to a discordant world. Just as the Lord gave His only begotten son to a world that was hurting more than 2000 years ago, we hope that our musical offerings will bring you peace, comfort, and joy that can only come from the gift of Emmanuel, God with us. As a Music Ministry, our mission is to “Offer Christ, nurture others, and serve all as we transform lives through God’s gift of music, the universal language.” We accomplish this each week through worship as well as through concerts such as these. Each concert will help the listener rediscover the joy of the Christ child in an exciting and powerful way. We invite you to attend each and every concert. Bring your family and friends to share in these amazing musical opportunities. Childcare will be provided for all concerts and there is no admission charge for any concert. A love offering will be taken for each concert. So come, all ye faithful, and rediscover just how much God loves you through the joy of music this Christmas Season. God loves you and so do we!

But there is no higher calling than what we prepare each week for worship of our Lord. Practice, practice, practice.” For our choir to receive an honor such as this is a testament to the choir’s 18 years of hard work and commitment to excellence in His service. New singers are always welcome and encouraged to become a part of our fellowship as we strive to make great music that touches hearts with the message of Christ’s love. Come be a part of our Music Ministry and find a place to call home in the “friendliest choir in Methodism!”
