High performance calls for optimal control: OPTOTRONIC® for LED modules. With the advancement of LED modules, the requirements on the control gear have changed. In order to ensure optimum operation of LEDs, OSRAM has developed an OPTOTRONIC® range specifically for these high-performance modules. The devices supply a constant current of 350 or 700 mA to bring out the strengths of the modules.

Operation of 350 mA LED modules • Because of its extremely small dimensions, OT 9/200-240/350 is ideal for line-voltage operation of various applications limited by space. • OT 9/10-24/350 DIM is a dimmable ECG which – enables high-flux LEDs to be integrated into DC supply systems (yachts, boats, mobile homes, solar lights etc.), – allows OSRAM’s standard range of LEDs to be combined with high-flux modules (for example LINEARlight together with DRAGONtape® in one application), – features a control input (max. 10 V) and PWM. • OT 9/100-120/350 E corresponds to the OT 9/200-240/350 but is designed to operate with a rated voltage of 110 V. • OT 9/200-240/350 DIM is an independent, dimmable ECG with cable clamp and control input (max. 10 V), 0–350 mA.

Operation of 700 mA LED modules • OT 18/200-240/700 DIM is an independent, compact, dimmable ECG for 700 mA high-flux LED modules. Brightness is regulated via a control input (max. 10 V). Alternatively, the unit enables the operating current to be set by means of a resistor on an application-oriented basis; in other words, adjusted according to the thermal conditions. The operating current of the LEDs can be adjusted from 0 to 700 mA (preset to 500 mA by a fixed resistor). • OT 35/200-240/700 is a compact, electronically controlled constant-current power supply unit (700 mA) with a maximum output of 35 W.
