ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT
Our Mission To enrich our community through transformative arts and educational experiences. svmoa.org
Art Creates Hope Dear friends of SVMoA, This year has connected us, as an organization and personally, to the human experience—the highs, the lows, the learning moments and the promise of growth. As we put this report together, it was a great reminder of the parallels between humanity, an organization, and of course, the arts. We accomplished great things during our last fiscal year, June 2019 to the end of May 2020, which is a credit to you and to this community. And yet, as we know, “the only constant in life is change” (Heraclitus). Periods of change and challenge are often chances for rebirth; we see that captured time and time again in the arts. As we reflect on the last year, one thing will never change: our commitment to you, to our community, and to the arts. We wouldn’t be who we are without your generous support and participation for the last 50 years. While our organization has taken many forms over its history, we work to make you proud—then, now, and for many years to come. In this year’s Annual Impact Report, we not only celebrate the arts and educational experiences we’ve brought to our community, but we also cast our eye to the future—with more focus and motivation than ever before. There’s so much more in store. We can’t wait to share it with you. Thank you for inspiring our work every day. Thank you for believing in the transformative power of the arts. We look forward to seeing you soon.
