Speaking exclusively to Zee Business, Rajiv Bansal, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation said that international flight operations are expected to return to normal soon. The Central government had banned the operation of international flights on March 23 last year to contain and control the spread of Covid-19. Flight restrictions, however, were later eased under air bubble arrangement with certain countries. At present, India has formed air bubble pacts with about 28 countries. Earlier, India’s civil aviation regulator extended the ban on the scheduled international
commercial flights, till November 30. In the notification, the Directorate General of Central Aviation (DGCA), however, said: “This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the DGCA.” It also said that scheduled international flights might be allowed on selected routes on a case to case basis. The country had been operating Vande Bharat flights to many countries over the last one year to evacuate stranded Indians. An air bubble pact is a bridge between two countries to ease travel and allows free-flow of travellers with all the required documents.

The Congress is beating its chest on thevision of Rahul Gandhi, who predicted that Modi has to repeal the farm laws. But winning thepoll-bound states is tough without a strong organization. The Samajwadi Party was hoping to use the farmer’s agitation as a central poll plank. The partyis also getting ready to align with the Rashtriya Lok Dal, backed by the Jats. The divided opposition might result in a hung Assembly.The Congress could have won – Punjab easily, but the Gandhi siblings have messed up thewhole thing by getting rid of Captain Amarinder Singh last month. Captain has floated hisparty and is getting ready for an alliance with the BJP. The Captain might not win the polls,but he could damage the Congress. PCR test for COVID-19 detection. Researchers noted that the Delta variant was the dominant strain in India during the study period, accounting for approximately 80 per cent of all confirmed COVID-19 cases. Covaxin, developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the National Institute of Virology, Indian Council of Medical Research (NIV-ICMR), Pune, is an inactivated whole virus vaccine administered in a two-dose regimen, 28 days apart. In January this year, Covaxin was approved for emergency use in India for people aged 18 and above. Two get 20 yrs in jail for smuggling opium poppy A truck driver and a cleaner from Punjab were convicted by a special NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and PsychotropicSubstances Act) court on Monday for smuggling opium poppy worth Rs 1.2 crore in June 2014.The two convicts — Baldev Singh alias Gurudev Singh alias Deba Jat and Jasbinder Singh Majbisikh — were arrested by thespecial operations group (SOG) of Vadodara rural police on June 12, 2014, from the Vadodara-Halol Road for transporting3,000kg of opium poppy.Police had searched their truck out of suspicion as the truck did not have a registration number at the side and back. Theopium poppy was seized and samples of it were sent to FSL in Gandhinagar for investigation. The duo was arrested andbooked under the NDPS Act at Waghodiya police station.

According to police and railway officials, the incident took place Monday afternoon in the Sabarmati Railway Yard section opposite Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad when the boy, a higher secondary student in a private school and a resident of Ranip area, climbed on to the roof of a stationary train.“The boy had gone to the Sabarmati Railway Yard with his friends on Monday afternoon. The teen climbed upon one of the wagons
of a stationary goods train on track number 3 to record a selfie video when he got electrocuted. No one else was injured in the incident,” said a senior officer of Sabarmati Railway police station. He was rushed to GMERS Hospital with the help of the Government Railway Police. The chief medical officer at the hospital declared him dead on arrival. An accidental death case has been registered in the matter,” the officer added. The boy’s Instagram account showed several “reels” made by him and according to police, he was planning to shoot one such video on the train. “It is an unfortunate incident. Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE) is proud to announce its recent achievement of its researchers being recognized in the top 2 percentile rank of scientists worldwide in the study by researchers from Stanford University. Six researchers from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education are in the prestigious
list of researchers. In an official function, they have felicitated by Lt General ( Dr ) MD Venkatesh, VC –MAHE, Dr PLNG Rao , Pro –VC MAHE , Dr Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar - MAHE along with other senior officials of MAHE. Further to this achievement, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh.
