Lately, she has featured in reality TV shows as a judge, and her web project, The Broken News, marks her first full-time acting job since then.“I was just at the space in life where I wanted to get back to work. I’ve been doing reality TV, but it revolved around my son’s time and home time. I have really not done fiction for a while and I was really ready for it now. My son has grown up and the project which I picked up was so exciting. The kind of content that’s happening is also so exciting. Insurance regulator IRDAI has imposed a penalty of INR 10 lakhs on Deinon Risk Services for acting as an insurance intermediary without a registration. As per the order, IRDAI received an email from a private company enquiring about the registration status of Deinon as they were approached for offering services in respect of aviation insurance business. Since the entity was not registered with the regulator, it sought an explanation from Deinon as to the basis for offering “Aerospace (Re) Insurance Services” to which Deinon responded by saying that its service does not constitute insurance business. While referring the matter for inquiry, IRDAI in its order said that Deinon had offered access to Global Insurance Markets in

Aerospace (Re) Insurance, which only a registered reinsurance/ composite broker can do and per Deinon’s communication, it acted in the capacity of an insurance intermediary by offering such services, without being registered with the Authority, which is in violation of section 42D(8) of the Insurance Act, 1938. “The Adjudicating Officer sought information from National Insurance Company Limited, The New India Assurance Company Limited, The Oriental Insurance Company Limited, United India Insurance Company Limited, GIC Re, HDFC Ergo General Insurance Company Limited, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited and TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
