Ram Charan Reunites With His Zanjeer Co-Star Priyanka Chopra Jonas At The Pre-Oscars Bash

Ahead of the 95th Academy Awards, Priyanka Chopra Jonas hosted a pre-Oscars bash celebrating South Asian excellence. Mega Power Star Ram Charan along with his wife Upasana were also invited to the same. Ram Charan and his wife spent time with the actors, directors and producers from the west. He was all smiles representing the country and reuniting with his Zanjeer (2013) Co-Star Priyanka Chopra. After the party, Priyanka also invited Ram Charan and Upasana to her home for a small get-together with their family and close friends. The couple posed with the global icon, her mother Madhu Chopra and others in the photos. Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra have worked together for the 2013 film Zanjeer. Startup-focused lender SVB Financial Group became the largest bank to fail since the 2008 financial crisis on Friday, in a sudden collapse that roiled global markets, left billions of dollars belonging to companies and investors stranded.California banking regulators closed the bank, which did business as Silicon Valley Bank, on Friday and appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as receiver for later disposition of its assets. Based in Santa Clara, the lender was ranked as the 16th biggest in the US at the end of last year, with about $209 billion in assets. Specifics of the techfocused bank’s abrupt collapse were a jumble, but the Fed’s aggressive interest rate hikes in the last year, which had crimped financial conditions in the startup space in which it was a notable player, seemed front and center. As it tried to raise capital to offset fleeing deposits, the bank lost $1.8 billion on Treasury bonds whose values were torpedoed by the Fed rate hikes.Silicon Valley Bank’s failure is the largest since Washington Mutual went bust in 2008.

Forex reserves rise by $1.46 billion to $562.4 billion: RBI

India’s foreign exchange reserves rose by USD 1.46 billion to USD 562.4 billion as of March 3, arresting the four successive weeks of fall, the Reserve Bank of India said.The forex reserves had fallen by USD 15.8 billion during the preceding four weeks. In the previous week ending February 24, the reserves had declined by USD 325 million to USD 560.942 billion, and the week before by a whopping USD 5.68 billion, showed the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data. The worst drop was in the week to February 10 when the reserves plunged by a steep USD 8.32 billion to USD 566.95 billion. The reserves have been falling as the rupee has been under pressure and the monetary authority has been taking measures to defend the currency from extreme volatility. In 2022 the cost of defending a falling rupee was over USD 115 billion of the reserves.In October 2021, the forex kitty had reached an all-time high of USD 645 billion.During the week ending March 3. from the get-together.
