‘Only a Matter of Time’: Chris Wood of Jefferies Sees Sensex Reaching 100,000 Points

Christopher Wood, global head of equities at Jefferies said that it will only be a matter of time before Sensex reaches the 100,000 level. “This target, on a five-year view, now assumes trend 15% EPS growth and that a five-year average one-year forward PE multiple of 19.8x is maintained,” Wood wrote in his GREED & fear weekly newsletter. He further added that the Indian stock market will continue to climb the proverbial wall of worry. Last year in February 2022, Chris Wood in a note had stated that India’s benchmark BSE Sensex to hit 100,000 on a five-year view i.e. by late 2026.

Lalita Pawar carved a niche for herself by playing the role of an evil mother-in-law in numerous Bollywood films.

The movie will be set during the IndoPakistani war of 1971 and will reunite Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel with Utkarsh Sharma returning to play their son. While the anticipation is high for the sequel, the makers have decided to jog the memories of viewers by releasing the original Gadar in theatres as well. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha will hit theatres after 22 years of its original release and it will be a digitally remastered version in 4K and Dolby Atmos Sound. PhonePe becomes the First Payment App to Link Two Lakh RuPay Credit Cards to UPI

The company has become the first digital payments app to successfully enable linkage of two lakh RuPay credit cards to the Unified Payments Interface. In addition, PhonePe has also processed a Total Payment Value (TPV) of Rs.150 crore via RuPay Credit on UPI.
