The best way to get around International Drive is to use the I-Trolley which is a reasonably priced public bus which operates on two routes- a red line which operates every 20 minutes and a green line which operates every 30 minutes.The trolley operates from 8:00am to 10:30pm daily. Sunway offers two choices of holiday home stays.You can opt to stay in dedicated resort whereby on-site facilities include restaurants, bars, a golf course and spa facilities. Sunway offers the Regal Palms Resort and Reunion Resort for clients who wish to choose this option. We also offer 3 to 5 bedroom private pool homes in the Kissimee area, which is about 15-25 minutes from Walt Disney World© and other great attractions. Homes come with a fully equipped kitchen and include TV’s, dishwasher/dryer, towels and linen.
Tips to keep in mind when booking a private holiday home: • Car hire is required to ensure easy accessibility to Orlando’s theme parks and attractions. • As homes are situated in residential areas, it is likely that you will not have amenities like bars and restaurants within walking distance of your home. • You must collect your key from the management company, with the exception of the Regal Palms, Bahama Bay Resort and Reunion Resort. Details regarding where you pick up your keys, registration forms and driving directions to your home will also be provided. Please bear in mind that it will be dark by the time you have exited the airport, collected your car and proceeded to your home. • Pool heat charge- Please note there is an additional charge for pool heating. Please ask our Sunway agents for more details. Pool heating should be requested at least 7 days prior to travel. • Security deposit- This is required upon registration and can range from $250 to $500 depending on your home.This is fully refundable once your home is vacated as found.

Flights and Flight times
Passports and Visa It is your sole responsibility to ensure that all passengers including children and infants are in possession of a valid Passports and Visa’s. The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables Irish citizens to travel to the U.S. for tourism or business for 90 days or less without obtaining a U.S. visa. If you do not hold an Irish passport, you must check with the applicable embassies of the countries you will be visiting during your holidays. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after your expected return date to Ireland. Irish Passport holders do not need a visa if entering Canada for tourism purposes. All that is required is a valid passport. A stay of up to six months is permitted but you cannot work during this time.
When you receive your travel documents, please check the flight numbers and timings on your tickets. Any flight route or timings shown in our brochure are for guidance only and may have changed. Check-in for international flights is 3 hours prior to departure. Some direct flights have an en-routed stopover for technical or operational reasons. Customs and immigration can usually be cleared at your first point of entry to the United States. Passengers travelling from Dublin or Shannon can normally clear US Immigration before your departure from Ireland. There are occasions, completely beyond our control, when a flight is delayed and Sunway Holidays do not have any liability for delays that may arise. Such changes will not be regarded as a significant change and you will not be entitled to cancel you holiday without paying the appropriate cancellation charge.
Machine Readable Passports (MRP): From 26th October 2004 passengers entering and transiting the United States under the VWP are required to hold a machine-readable passport (MRP). If any person who is a citizen of a VWP (i.e. Irish citizens/holders of Irish passports) does not have a MRP, then they will need to obtain a U.S. non-immigrant visa prior to departure.
Reconfirmation of Flight Times: Customers must reconfirm their return flight at least 24 hours prior to departure. Contact details included in travel documents.
Children: Over 16 years of age: must hold a valid MRP.
Please note, if you are travelling on an internal flight within the US & Canadafor example from San Francisco to Los Angeles, the airline may charge domestic baggage fees. This varies per airline. Your travel documents, issued nearer your departure date, will list your baggage allowance for each flight. Please ask your sales agent for more details. Please note on the international portion of the flight (for example Dublin to New York), you will not be charged baggage fees unless you have exceeded your baggage allowance.
Under 16 years of age: Children who have previously been added to a parent’s passport will also be required to have an MRP in their own name. Please note that Passports take between at least 4-6 weeks to secure, so applications for passports, including applications to exchange a non-MRP for a MRP should be made in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure that exactly the same name (including initials) appears on your ticket as in your passport. If there is any difference, you may be refused entry onto your flight. We regret we cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry onto any flight or into any country or otherwise suffer any difficulties or incur any costs as a result of not having an acceptable passport or any required visa(s). Passengers, who have previously been refused a US visa, should contact the US embassy. Those intending to re-enter during their vacation i.e. on a coach tour into Canada or cruising the Caribbean or Mexico should ensure on doing Immigration that Multiple Entry is stamped on their passport.
Internal flights within the US & Canada
Fitness to Fly Conditions such as Deep Vein Thrombosis may be associated with any form of long distance travel whether by air, car, coach or train. In particular, Longhaul air flights (flight lasting longer than 5 hours) where passengers remain immobile in the seated position for long periods of time may be associated with an increased risk. Some people are deemed to be at greater risk and these categories are listed in the latest government advice, and they are advised to seek medical advise from their GP before travelling. People with other conditions may need special assistance from the airline. If you have any concerns about your fitness, then contact your doctor for advice.

You will normally be travelling on 'inclusive air tour' tickets. Free baggage allowance is normally 15kgs to 20 kgs for Economy and 30kgs for Business and First class. These allowances are subject to change. Please note some airlines charge $50 for a second checked bag. This fee is payable directly to the airline. Please reconfirm with your consultant. Baggage Delays; In the case of baggage delay the air carrier is liable for damage unless it took all reasonable measures to avoid the damage or it was impossible to take such measures. If baggage is delayed, lost or damaged the passenger must write and complain to the air carrier as soon as possible. We strongly advise against placing valuables in checked in baggage.
All touring holidays are fully escorted from the point of arrival in America or Canada and to the point of departure, unless specified otherwise on the tour pages. Hotels, Lodges & Rooms Accommodation is based on standard twin/double bedded room unless otherwise stated. Higher category rooms can be secured at many of the hotels and the applicable supplement will be advised at the time of booking.
Check-in, Checkout Time Please note that at most hotels and lodges check-in is not until 1500 hrs and you will be expected to vacate your room normally between 1000 and 1200 hrs – irrespective of the time that you intend to depart. If the hotel is not full then it is usually possible for early check-in or late checkout arrangements to be made locally, a charge is usually applicable. Resort Fees: You should be aware that certain properties levy clients directly in resort with fees for the use of various facilities at those properties. We have, where possible, in this brochure, detailed such fees in the hotel descriptions applicable.
Fly Drive Itineraries
Currency and Credit Card We believe it is essential to obtain a credit card prior to your departure. In America credit cards are a way of like. Hotels will require an imprint of your credit card at check-in to cover for incidentals and for security reasons. Car hire companies will also require a credit card imprint of the nominated driver. In our opinion you should not leave home without your plastic friend. The currency in the U.S. is the U.S. dollar & in Canada is the Canadian dollar.
Drinking Laws Regulations in America and Canada vary but normally it is 21 or over. It is often necessary to provide ID before being served alcohol.
Car Hire & Driving Please note that most hire companies require a deposit at the commencement of any hire to cover the refilling of your petrol tank at the end of the hire. Seat belts are compulsory. Driving under the influence of alcohol is a serious offence and traffic laws are strictly enforced. In USA and Canada it is compulsory for drivers to carry a Valid Full driving licence with them at all times. Driving is on the right hand side of the road.
Currency We suggest you take your spending money in dollar Traveller’s Cheques or use a credit card.
Complaints Any Complaints you might have should be brought to the immediate attention of our local agent, and if not handled to your satisfaction should then be submitted in writing to Sunway’s office in Dublin within 28 days of your return. Please refer to sections 13, 14, and 15 of the Booking Form for further details.
A final word Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure that your travel plans run smoothly there can be times, thankfully very infrequent, when arrangements can go askew due to local circumstances of which we are unaware and have no control over. Every effort will be made by the company and its local agents to minimise any inconvenience.
