DATES, TIMES & DETAILS TO PLAN YOUR VISIT
Purchase College was founded in 1967. Edward Larrabee Barnes, the master architect of the campus, had envisioned “a city within the country”—an urban-like space in which an artistic and intellectual community could flourish, surrounded by woods and meadows. In all, eight major architects contributed to the design of present-day Purchase College.
