Taylor Auditorium. Phi Theta Kappa is the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College. Friday, November 14 SCCC Gala: Celebrating 45 Years of SCCC – 6 p.m., Glen Sanders Mansion. More than 250 prominent businesses, education and community leaders will come together celebrate SCCC’s 45th Anniversary. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a celebration highlighting the milestones of the past 45 years. Come enjoy a night of fun with entertainment from John Charles Cook and Anne Empie, a fabulous dinner and program with our Master of Ceremonies, Jack Aernecke, retired

Coming Up: SCCC Hockey Night at the Devils! Come out and enjoy SCCC College Night presented by the Albany Devils and Professor Farron’s Marketing class on Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center. A promotional $5 ticket will be available to Schenectady County Community College students, faculty and staff and their guests. This price is greatly reduced for SCCC, so take advantage of this great opportunity for a fun night out. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Albany Devils table from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Commons area (across from the Security Desk) on the following dates: Monday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 18. For a Great Cause! The Student Volunteer Organization is selling raffle tickets for gift baskets through November 17 in the Commons Area or in Elston 202. The money raised will be used to purchase gifts for the holidays for families in Schenectady County.
