TRANS BY AP Trans is a condominium by Ap development located on Rama 4 road at the Kluaynamtai section which most of residents are office workers from surrounding area such as Ekkamai, Asoke or Klongtoei. This location is quiet far away from bts Ekkamai station so, the main transportation is private car or motorbike. Design description At first we did the empathy from our real users to know their needs and problems from living in condominium. We got the question that “How could we help the workers who live a routine life with the boring emotion to make a new experience and feel the different from their routine? and How might we help the workers who got tired from working to access the recreation easiest through the natural therapy?“ For the next step, we ideate we got the solution, that our users need the ecological service to make them more relaxed with the easier way and more choices of using common space. So, everyone need the natural as the answer of their relaxation but how about the solution, what is the easiest way? So, my design is focus in solutions on the way to feel the natural. It came out in 3 solutions 1. “Transform“ we use the different ways of transformation from the nature to the form of different senses for the easier way to feel the natural. 2. “Adaptable“ the natural always adapt themself for living, the design allow the users to observe and feel the natural process as the never ending and never repeating experience. 3. “Tropical“ we use the context of our natural to represent the comfort feeling like a country home to let users escape from the concrete forest. This solution lead to the answer “feel the natural” with the easiest way and have more seasoning in the recreation and take more privacy in commonspace, and finally make the users have a variety of experiences and feeling in each using.

We lift the planters, ponds or sunken the walk way to the position which is the easiest way to feel the natural with the relaxation and to control the privacy of the users both in their rooms and in common space.

THE GOOD OLD DAY CAFE AND BANQUET Design discription This site is located in Bangkae district of Bangkok, which has an effect from urban sprawn that comes with the transportation development in the west site of Bangkok. You can see it from a buildings along the road side which has many style of architecture or the height which can see the difference obviously. From this context of the site that the alleys around the side have many modernism around 70’s-90’s style houses refers to the age which this area has grown, so I picked up this content to cover the overall of this cafe to revive the modernism style that are going to replace by the today’s style, bring back the good old day around this site by reflecting in the system in both architecture and landscape which usinge a simple perceive rectangular form to represent each space and to divide each space with the order of an elements. The site is divided into 4 parts laying with the privacy and access condition for each part. For the First zone is the cafe and park zone which this zone makes the space connecting to the road side which a easily access for both local people, clients or passing traveler. The second zone is banquet zone which created for the specific users. It can be devided in to 3 parts provide the activities for indoor out, outdoor or big events that take place all of 3 parts. The third part is a back yard zone which is a recreation zone and activities zone which have more privacy than the front zones. For the last part, the most private part is residential zone for the owners , the 2 modernism houses connected with a yard which has the same style with a cafe. This part seperates with the others by the wetland which creates a comfortable atmosphere for the cafe, yard, houses and also a wetland that collects the stormwater to reserve for the site before releasing to the public system by the overflow system.

PEA HOUSING PHUKET Retention pond

It is housing for PEA officers and CEO of the organization and can also provide a conference of seminar evets or other PEA’s events. Design discription Begin with studying the site to know the topography, water management, existing plants and the culture around the site. Then I began to study about space that suitable for housing that has many kinds of residential units together and rely on the program that includes the conference hall, clubhouse, parking lot and back of house. So, we came out with hyrachy of common space that the main open space is in the center and the sub open space are around it and more sub space are around it again as the pattern. This pattern brings residents enjoying the common space that has more privacy in their area and can also join the main open space to communicate with others to make them be close to each other and make the organization stronger. In addition, the site becomes a thing that defines the open space and orientation of the masterplan, such as main open space which is the axis of the site that form by existing open space and the topography that automatically makes the main focus of the site. The orientation of the building is also rely on the existing topography to make every units have their privacy space and can also connect to the main space and the access easily. Moreover, I use the existing to help about water management to select the area of water retention, detention pond and also the bioswale that manage water from the residential zone. And to reduce the cost of grading the landform while every units can take the good outside view without disruption by others and can enjoy their privacy.

XIDAN CULTURAL PLAZA The Mountain

We used the traditional Chinese planing theory about mountain and river to metaphor it to the elements and planing and then, adjust it by the park’s criteria of hyrachy of openspace, walking distance or shortcut, ventilation and tree shade and aspect from each side. We combine them to create a planing of comtemporary cultural plaza.
