Nowadays, The inclined growth of economics and the limited lettable space in office buildings has increased the average lettable price in office building which is predicted to be higher in the next 1-3 years from now and continuously uprising.

Hospital in modern days not only stands for being just health center but, need to have relaxing environment that can heal patients mentally and physically. By bringing the natural environment inside the building creates the forest within the city making patients can feel that they are not being in typical hospital that conceals with walls and small windows. Rather than feeling illness, we giving them a sense of vacation.
The challenge of the competition is for participants to create a new type of vernacular with characteristics not commonly associated with vernacular design. The competition is looking to showcase new vernacular design that is mutable, inventive and capable of self-renewal. The goal is to re-think vernacular as something that can assume performative roles and possess generative potentials.

Architecture that creates the least impact with environment is the best architecture. Everyday we develop new technology to help us save energy but, in the end the real effective energy saving factor is the environment. The green space that will helps not only for energy saving but, filters the pollution, giving shades to building and also economic profits as well.
Low Cost Housing project involved for local people in case, the vicinity is circumstanced by tall buildings and business area, thus people in such area are somehow, involved in high cost living zone where they don’t know when to be expropriated.

The problem of the typical condominium is that long corridors are made to save cost of construction but by the same time it also took the co-existance of residents. The main development here is to fix the problem of making public spaces within the residence but also provide privacy for rooms and spaces to recreation of each residents.

Unit Spaces Idea The problem of typical units is the stacking of rooms and long corridor. The idea of development is that we come up with shifting the units and overlapping them using the spaces of overlapping floor above and below to make terrace spaces which also giving the privacy residents want and by shifitng the units the center core is bigger and allow us to have the public space for co-existing in residence.

Dominating Southern Sathorn Skyline as the Northern has Mahanakhon Tower placing face to face with our project, but with low height buildings surrounded the area, we can see all the skyline around Bangkok.

Ward function as the top mass with bigger atrium and increased frontage.
Podium mass is the OPD, ICU and all of the therapy function departments due to the usage function and circulation
PROJECT 03 Combining the masses with the red zone over the top creates different size of atrium in the middle causing unique space inside of the center. With overlapping space of floors it provide terraces and shades to itself which end up creating more space for patients and visitors to use the oasis.

Front Entrance The facade of the building is designed by the concept of clean and sustainable. The fin of the glazing can reduce the heat from sunlight on the glazing. With using the pattern of facade to the exterior wall of lobby entrance creating systematic design for facade pattern.

Today, Vernacular Architecture is scarce and seems to decrease more. The idea of this propose is to improve living condition of people in the city with lower cost than typical construction ways so that low income people could effort this sustainable vernacular house. Aiming that vernacular architecture can be industrilized into pre fabrication system which could lower the cost of construction. That we provide structure but, people could choose to grow and design by themselves which could preserve the old ways of living in the community.
