My Life Coping With Autism
My life earlier on especially my school life was an unpleasant experience it was more difficult even at home where my father and I did not even get along at all. My father always talked smack down on me about my how terrible my Maths and English was he was always negative and I gained resentment towards him and then I had to go to school and I had a hard time coping in class, I even had a support assistant to sit next to me in class. Since I was 12 years old I was not liked by many people. There a Japanese Proverb “The Nail That Sticks Out Gets Hammered Down” I was that huge nail that got hammered down a lot. I was treated not like a human being. I was called names and given trash by many other people it was a living nightmare for me my home life was not great and my school life was more suffering.
F*****G Retard
Stupid Dumb S**T
The Nail That Sticks Up Get Hammered Down This is a Japanese proverb talking about someone who comes across different and unfamiliar to encounter with. That person can be viewed negatively. In Human nature we don’t like others, or even things that don’t come across familiar to us, if we are not familiar with a person and its behaviour, we come across negative and that is how discrimination happens. Unfortunately us Human beings are still not used to dealing with people with Autism because they don’t know how to deal with people who have Autism and most likely have never encountered with a person with Autism. So Autistic people will stand out and people will feel repulsed towards them and will ostracise them. As a Human Race we still have a long way to go to achieve equality.
