I dream a world I dream a world Where man Would adore in God’s Presence And see beauty For what It’s really is I dream a world Where white and black Would be united When I won’t Of to hung my head When I walk on 61st street Because I was presume Delinquent. To walk in such shame And cry home to mom Because the comments By the boys next To the candy store Were racist I dream a world Where peace and love Will reign supreme Diease, hunger And poverty Were not a luxury I dream a world When God will dwell with us Again And so I dream a world A world of my own imagination And aspiration And for such things That’s the world I dream.
