Case Pack & Shipping Specs Packaging: All Visstun® cups are sealed in a poly sleeve and packaged in a corrugated case. See below for standard case pack configurations. Shipping: F.O.B. Nevada. In accordance with the shipping terms of F.O.B. Nevada, the responsibility of an order transfers to the customer when the order is shipped. Claims for shipping damage MUST be made by the customer when the shipment arrives. Visstun® accepts no responsibility or liability for carrier-caused delivery delays, problems, or product damages.

Multiple Destination Charge: Visstun® will ship to separate locations for $12.50/v per location. If specific instructions are received within three days of shipping, a $18.75/v charge per destination will be applied. Projects requiring non-standard case packs will incur additional charges. Drop ship lists must be submitted in an Excel spreadsheet. Any instructions not present at the time of quoting may alter pricing when the actual instructions are received. Fulfillment charges are not included in the Multiple Destination charges. If a fulfillment quote is needed, please provide requirements.

How do the Weekly Production Runs work? Each cup’s weekly or monthly production run has a CRITICAL RUN CUTOFF Day and a scheduled SHIP Day: CRITICAL RUN CUTOFF Day is the last day we accept orders for the current production run without a LATE charge. All order details including art approval and any deposits, if required, must be finalized by 12:00pm PST on the day after the RUN CUTOFF Day. Orders submitted the day after the RUN CUTOFF day may still be eligible for the current production run with a $120/v late charge. To be eligible, all order details including art approval and any deposits, if required, must be finalized by 12:00pm PST. Our standard lead time is one to four weeks depending on cup size, volume, when the order is placed, and the product being ordered. Each cup has a regular production schedule and all orders must be placed by the scheduled CUTOFF day. Quantities up to 50,000 pieces are available in the standard production run. Lead-time for larger orders are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.

SHIP Day is one to four weeks after the RUN CUTOFF Day. Orders can be scheduled to ship AFTER the Production Run’s SHIP Day but not before.

Art Specs

How are they made? First, FLAT sheets are printed on our Heidelberg® and KBA UV lithographic printing presses for a print quality that far surpasses old-style cup imprinting methods. Second, FLAT printed sheets are die-cut to the characteristic "fan-shape" sidewall form needed to manufacture the cup. Finally, using our custom engineered cup machinery, the FLAT printed and die-cut sheet is formed into the basic cup shape, the bottom is placed and heat-sealed, and the top lip formed – all at speeds up to 200 cups/minute. Do I need to worry about inventory issues? Other cup manufacturers need a large inventory because they don’t manufacture their own cups and need stock cups readily available. Visstun®, however, manufactures cups from start to finish so we don’t run into inventory issues.

The following, in conjunction with the "Art Check List" on Page 25, outlines the production specifications and additional charges for the successful completion of your project.

Registration: Please allow ±1/16" registration variance of the print to the product perimeter. We make every attempt to line up art in the seam area, but we cannot guarantee it.

Art Specifications: Art must be output-ready digital files and should conform to the art specs found on our “Art Check List” on Page 25. Changes made after production begins will incur additional charges.

Email & FTP: Submit files smaller than 3MB via email to your Sales Counselor. Files up to 80MB may be uploaded to www.visstun.com/upload. Remember to also send a printed sample of what you expect the art to look like. Refer to Page 25 for our "Art Check List" for details on art submission.

Job Changes: Job change orders that occur once a project is in our system may incur additional or duplicate charges as applicable. Changes may also affect scheduled delivery dates. To avoid additional charges or delays, nail down all loose ends prior to job submission. Art Services: Any time art must be created or modified, art services will be billed at $75/v per hour. Proofs: Three proof options are available. 1) With each order and reorder you will be emailed a FREE 3-D color PDF proof of the art adjusted for the curve and taper of the cup. While not an accurate color proof, this PDF allows you to verify that the art is correct and generally the correct color. Production begins only after this PDF proof is approved. 2) For $87.50/v, you can order a color mock-up which is a digitally printed color sheet cut out and wrapped around a preformed cup. This mock-up gives you the basic look and feel of the cup. 3) A full production proof can be ordered for $237.50/v. Production proofs are recommended whenever color matching is critical and required on larger orders. Color Targets: Send samples of printing or items to matc h f or c olor when your or der is plac e d. We can’t match your target if we can’t see it! PMS/Spot Colors: All PMS/Spot colors will be converted to 4-Color Process. When referencing a PMS color in a process color print, refer to a Pantone® COLOR BRIDGE® to see how the color translates when converted to CMYK. Most colors change when converted to CMYK.

Offset Lithography: All images are printed as submitted. Image resolution should be set at 300ppi – remember that effective image resolution is decreased when an image is enlarged in a layout program; so, images should be sized at 100%. When color is critical, we always recommend either a mock-up proof or a production proof. Templates and Warping: Our standard templates are rectangles which are designed to facilitate adjusting the art for the curve of the cup. This adjustment, referred to as "warping", will slightly affect how all elements in the image look. Templates can be downloaded from www.visstun.com/templates. Template dimensions are shown on Page 25. Copyrights: Customers warrant that all images supplied for reproduction, whether digital, conventional or otherwise, are unencumbered by copyright and other usage rights connected to the image(s) and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Visstun® for all claims and expenses for any actions in law that may result from the use of these images. Separations, Files, Plates, & Dies: All separations, digital files, plates, and dies created by Visstun® remain factory property. Our storage policy is to keep these materials on file for 24 months. After 24 months, reorders are treated as new jobs and require new art and set-ups. Original art is returned on request.

Include a complete, full-sized hard copy of the composite art submitted. It may be color or black & white, but must be printed from the final file(s) you provide. Color targets should be printed using calibrated devices.

What if I only need a simple 1- Color cup? Our Hi-Definition print process makes all art look better than traditional print methods like silk-screen and pad printing. Bring on the fine text, thin lines, tight registration, and full cup prints!! Our BASIC 1:2™ program makes our one & two color paper cups and containers economical and awesome!

What is the lead time? Standard lead time is one to four weeks depending on cup size, volume, when the order is placed, and the product being ordered. See Page 23 for details.

What styles and colors are available? Visstun® cups are printed to be virtually any color within the range of 4-Color Process printing, and available in WHITE Plastic, CLEAR Plastic, Paper HOT, Paper COLD and MICROWAVABLE Paper. Spot/PMS colors are converted to 4-Color Process.

Are the cups recyclable? Visstun plastic cups are recyclable in areas where polypropylene plastic (5) is recycled. ®

Is there an extra charge for 2-sided printing? No! Except for the underside (bottom) of the cup and the inside, the print covers the entire cup.

Are the cups dishwasher safe? Yes! Visstun® PLASTIC cups are top-shelf dishwasher safe and can be washed many times.

What does it cost to use stock art? It's FREE!

DRINK CUPS

I know the cups are reusable, but how long do they last? It's hard to determine exactly how long without knowing where and how they will be used. We can say that many of us have cups we have washed and used for over a year and they still look good! These cups are tough and will stand up to frequent use.
