TOP 100 WOMEN
Inspiring
I
n honour of International Women’s Day, Supply Chain Digital Magazine is proud to again publish its Top 100 Women from the sector. Following the success of 2021's Top 100 Women in Supply Chain, this year we have put together another list of the Top 100 inspirational and influential women in supply chain. Every single person mentioned in this Top 100 has earned her place - and the respect of her peers through hard work, talent and an ability to lead their teams through some of the most difficult market conditions in a generation. Entire industries shrank dramatically during the pandemic, such as hospitality and travel. Many businesses had to move heaven and earth just to maintain enough inventory to avoid running out of stock. Now, as we move out
of the pandemic, we face the Great Resignation, and many organisations are struggling to hire quickly enough to keep pace with their operational needs. The supply chain professionals in this Top 100 were in the front line of the battle to overcome all this turbulence and uncertainty, and Supply Chain Digital salutes each and every one of them. Supply Chain issues, and solutions, are in the public eye in a way they never were before. This scrutiny is really a recognition of the field's true importance to our hyperconnected world - and it is here to stay. From chip shortages to sustainable packaging and the circular economy - supply chain as a topic has endless depth and is going through endless evolutions. We are, in fact, at a supply chain tipping point - a revolution. These are the women leading it.
