EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :Candidate should possess any one of the following or its equivalent qualification awarded by an University or Institution recognized by the University Grant Commission on the date of this notification viz., 22-12-2014. Must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Science or Engineering of any recognized University with any one of the following subjects : 1) Agriculture 2) Animal Husbandry 3) Botany 4) Chemistry 5) Computer Applications / Computer Science 6) Engineering (All Engineering subjects including Agricultural Engineering) 7) Environmental Science8) Forestry 9) Geology 10) Horticulture 11) Marine Biology 12) Mathematics 13) Physics 14) Statistics 15) Veterinary Science 16) Wildlife Biology 17) Zoology

Only candidates possessing the above said minimum physical standards are eligible to apply for the post. (D)
PHYSICAL TEST :a) Candidates must pass a physical test covering a distance of 25/16 Km within 4hours on foot by male/female candidates, respectively. b) Applicants must satisfy a medical board as to his/her physical fitness and capacity for rough outdoor work for the post applied for.

Note: 1) Details regarding exemption of examination fee are furnished in Annexure 7of “Information Brochure” 2) Issue of application forms: OMR application forms along with “Information Brochure” can be obtained only from any one of the designated Post Offices in Tamil Nadu/ Puduchery (as per the details of Post offices provided in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department Website ie. www.forests.tn.nic.in / Annexure-9 of the “Information Brochure”) on payment of cash. 3) Filled in application forms should be addressed and sent to the “Chief Post Master, Anna Road HO, Chennai-600 002” and should not be sent to the Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) directly. 3
6. RESERVATIONS : The Rule of reservation is applicable as per the Tamil Nadu Government Rules and Orders in force. 7. GENERAL INFORMATION : 1. Application containing wrong claims relating to category of reservation / age / educational / physical qualification will be liable for rejection. 2. Knowledge of Tamil Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification. (For details refer Para 17(2) of the Information Brochure) 8.
CENTRE FOR EXAMINATIONS: Examinations will be held in sixcentres namely,
Chennai, Salem, Madurai,
Coimbatore, Tirunelveli and Trichy. The Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Committee (TNFUSRC) reserves the right to modify the Examination Centres. 9.
PROCEDURE FORSELECTION : Based on the written examination, the successful candidates will be called for appearing in Walking test, physical standards verification and personality test for final selection. A candidate who has not appeared in any one of the papers in Written examination or the other tests will not be considered for selection even if he/she secures qualifying marks in the written examination.
