HELLO We are not going to tell you how great we are and that our boards are the best ‘cause you already know that. We are also not going to brag about the fact that Triple Base Technology is now being recognized by some serious riders worldwide as the perfect hybrid camber base. You already know that too. Lets just stick to the stuff you don’t know yet:
NEW! COCKTAIL
GULLI GUDMUNDSSON has been loving the Disaster proving that it is only a disaster if you do not ride one. This year Gulli will be riding his own signature Disaster aka the Cocktail.
NEW! GLOBAL WARMER
Inspired by the end of the world and scary scientists dropping the most horrible scenario’s and reports of our planets ultimate doom. We put together the G.W. aka Global Warmer. The G.W. is basically the most high end jib/park-board out there next season, composed with some of the most toxic stuff we could find. Expect mad pop, looseness and pressability creating a ride never experienced by any scientist.
NEW! CAMEL TOE
We decided that it was finally time to unleash the first TBT powderboard. We are very stoked to introduce the all new CAMEL TOE, a pocket powder surfer so good that you just can’t stop wanting. The CAMEL TOE makes riding powder a whole new experience. You will wonder why we kept this shape so long to ourselves. Check it out the craziest TBT we have ever done and a tail so beautiful. It will snake between trees and float the deep open fields...
NEW! BATALEON OUTERWEAR
You know it had to happen! Fresh for 1213 we deliver a small outerwear line designed to snowboard in and not to “fashion” in. But just as with our boards we believe that we managed to make it look good too! You can expect a perfect fit and features that matter on the hill like the awesome Helmet Hoodini. Have a great winter! Don’t panic, the world will not end on dec. 21st 2012 and don’t forget to Smile... it’s Snowboarding! Mr. B.

THIS IS WHY WE THINK TBT IS BETTER THAN ALL OTHER SHAPES OUT THERE. BUT DON’T BELIEVE US! the hybrid camber that actually works.
a.BASE VIEW
Triple Base Technology divides the nose and tail area into 3 parts: 1. The left sidebase for turning left. 2. The center flat middle base for going straight. 3. The right sidebase for turning right. 3 is the magic number.
b.BASE VIEW
On a conventional snowboard a slightly under rotated jump will often result in an out-of-control landing, or worse, a crash. Triple Base Technology gives you a lot more forgiveness in landings. Triple Base boards tend to track straight after landing even if you are a bit off balance or under rotated because the edges are less likely to dig in. The first thing to touch the snow is your base and not your tip or tail edge!
When going straight, you will only have active edge where you want it – between your feet. This is due to the lifted edges at the nose and tail. Less edge when going straight means less edge catching and less scorpions. Remember that only tilting the board 3 degrees gives you full edge contact again.
THE SIDE BASES HAVE GRADUALLY INCREASING ANGLES STARTING FROM FLAT IN THE BINDING AREA, TO MAXIMUM LIFT AT THE WIDEST POINTS. THIS MAKES THE BOARD FORGIVING WHEN RIDDEN FLAT, BUT STILL SUPER GRIPPY WHEN PUT ON EDGE.
ON EDGE
loose and grippy.
C.SIDE VIEW
NO RIDER WEIGHT
COMBINING A FULL TIP TO TAIL CLASSIC CAMBER WITH A RAIL TO RAIL CONCAVE. IT COMBINES THE LOOSENESS OF A ROCKER SHAPE BOARD WITH THE POP AND RESPONSE OF CAMBER. TBT BENDS BOTH WAYS!
D.SIDE VIEW
WITH RIDER WEIGHT
STAYS loose EVEN WHEN YOU STAND ON IT!
E.TOP VIEW
WITH RIDER WEIGHT
Because a Triple Base board is pre-shaped at the wider parts of the board it will cause less ‘ploughing’ than a conventional flat board, which tends to dig too deep at its widest points.
From a flat position a TBT board is at first tilted against the width at the waist only, making it easier to initiate a curve. It has the feel of a more narrow board. From one turn to another, the strong edge grip fades out and builds up again. Together with greatly reduced tendency for edge catch in the flat position these factors make edge-to-edge transitions way smoother.
100% smooth edge control when you need it.
F.TOP VIEW
The patented TBT shape is created by using specially shaped moulds when pressing the final board. A tbt board is made with the same amounts and thicknesses of Base, core, laminates, edges and topsheets as a traditional flat board. No material is taken out or shaved off. ROCKER ON THE SIDES, CAMBER IN THE MIDDLE. IT’S THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!
Enhanced dynamics gives more speed and better control onto kickers even when they have lots of tracks in the run-in and take off. The forgiveness of Triple Base Technology combined with the responsiveness of normal camber equals smoother landings.
Without super aggressive edges at the wider points of your board it’s so easy to hit those butters.
When put under pressure in a tight turn a conventional board will always want to snap back to its original flat shape. A Triple Base board is already pre-shaped for turning and therefore offers a smoother turn.
The lifted side-bases in nose and tail give more float in deep pow and make you sink in less than on a flat board. Now you can keep riding your freestyle board when it starts snowing. Or switch to TBT freeride base and feel what it is like to ride powder with even less back leg burn.
THE UNIQUE THING ABOUT TBT IS THAT EVEN WITH THE RIDERS WEIGHT PUSHING DOWN ON THE BOARD THE EDGES STAY LIFTED. WHEN LOOKING INTO Hybrid CAMBER SHAPES, ALWAYS ASK YOURSELF WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I STAND ON IT. SINCE YOU WILL BE DOING THAT A LOT WHEN SNOWBOARDING.
ON EDGE THE CAMBER IS LOADED READY TO POP YOU INTO YOUR NEXT TURN. Meanwhile THE EDGE IS FULLY ENGAGED WITH A solid POWER DISTRIBUTION ALONG A SMOOTH edge CURVE.
Boards with camber have more pop than boards without camber, but when you add TBT to the mix it gets really explosive. Because of TBT’s concave tail and nose shape your board comes pre loaded with extra pop. So when you are loading up your tail, all the forces go to the centre of your tail section where they will seriously pop you out. It’s like snapping an ollie of fresh concrete.
When you go straight you don’t need as much effective edge as in a turn. In fact, it’s better to have less effective edge. A conventional board will always have the tendency to dig down in the snow at its widest points. This causes you to alternate between heelside and toeside pressure to remain in control when straight lining. With a Triple Base board all you do is point straight down and relax. Because the edges are lifted at the widest points of the board you hardly need to compensate for any sudden edge catching.
Less unnecessary active edge means less drag and more speed. On top of that less edge catch creates more confidence resulting in even more speed. Now there is no reason why you shouldn’t win every race back to the lodge.
On a conventional flat board you will lose a lot of speed in transitions when going from vertical to horizontal since a conventional board tends to dig more aggressively into the wall. Because of the lifted edges a Triple Base board will dig less into the transition, offering a smoother and faster line from transition to vert. In the pipe, more speed up the wall means more air above the coping. With Triple Base boards you will discover it’s easier to go bigger in pipe.
A TBT Board is more versatile then a conventional flat board. You can ride a stiffer board and still have more forgiveness. You can ride longer boards with greater ease or ride shorter than on your old flat board and still have full control. You can even ride a wider board than you are used to and it will still feel narrow. TBT combines the best of both worlds, enabling you to ride all terrains with just one stick.
Because the Triple Base has lifted edges over the entire tip and tail section the board will not dig in as deep as a flat board. This released pressure on the widest points of the board results in less vibrations and the steel edge always keeps full contact with the snow resulting in better edge grip. The icier the conditions, the better this board will perform compared to conventional ‘flat’ boards.
As the powder is getting tracked you will need to traverse more and more. With TBT you will always get to the next stash first. Lifted edges on the widest part of your board will make traversing so much more relaxed. On top of that, a toe to heel side traverse is so much easier with TBT.

OUTLINE SHAPE VS CONTACT SHAPE With outline shape we mean the outline of the board. This can be either twin or directional. When it is directional it means the nose length is longer than the tail length. With contact shape we mean that part of the board that is actually touching the snow. So if you have a directional outline shape and a twin contact shape it means that the nose is longer than the tail but the part that is on the snow when you stand on the board is twin.

Our FLEX-O-METER is using a scale from 0 to 10, where 0 is super soft and 10 is mega stiff. In the flex rating you’ll find three values, one for the nose-flex, one for the flex between the inserts and one for the tail-flex. So for example a 5-6-5 flex is a board with a medium flex that is slightly stiffer in between the bindings. A soft board will feel more playfull under your feet and a stiffer board will be more stable at high speeds. Note that TBT’s lifted side bases will make a stiffer board feel more alive than a flat board with a comparable stiffness....
EDGE BEVEL All our boards leave the factory with a 2-3 degrees edge bevel for an ultra smooth ride straight out of the plastic.
Easy to repair and can take a good beating. Low maintenance, still slides well with irregular waxing (but waxing is always recommended of course!).
Fast as F*ck. Great wax absorption and tough as nails. This base comes with factory wax infused. Wax your sintered base regularly to get the most out of it.

MAINTENANCE TBT boards can be maintenanced using Stone- and Belt Grinding. When you hand your board in for a tune up. Double check if your tune up shop knows what they are doing. And if neccesary point them in the direction of our maintenance instruction video’s that can be found on our website. The thing is that the boards can go through the machines but 2 of the 3 feeding wheels need to be removed to allow for the TBT to pass through. Experienced tune up shops know about this...

The G.W. aka Global Warmer is not a ‘Green’ board. It even has added carbon which is bad for nature but sure increases your pop. Is taking a fractional amount of sustainable materials and sandwiching it between plastic with a pot of glue really green though? A top-shelf park board with all of the tech yet it comes in a softer flex. Just be sure to carpool to the hill.

Does the term ‘Good for a girl’ make you cringe? ...Well it should. We’re willing to bet then, that you don’t pick your boards cause they are ‘pretty’. The ALLMTN TBT directional outline and medium flex of the Violenza make this the ladies choice for all-mountain domination. TM

This is a f*ckin’ expensive snowboard and well, it’s what you would expect from a f*ckin’ expensive snowboard. It is super light, f*ckin’ fast and stable with a ridiculous amount of pop. If you only insist on the very best, this is the board for you. If we haven’t sold you yet, it will make you ride faster than your friends ...Faster than pretty much anyone on the mountain.

Ah the Omni... Our internationally acclaimed award winning freeride cruiser. The directional FREERIDE TBT shape allows you to carve and float effortlessly. The longer nose shape allows for bigger TBT side base lift creating unparalleled float while in the back we have shaped the TBT to be like a ‘gas paddle’ that has you powering out of your turns. The optional ‘backseat’ inserts will give you confidence no matter how deep things get. TM

Don’t even consider this board if you’re going to go pussyfooting around the mountain. This is our most high end bad ass all mountain freeride board. The Triaxial glassing, Reactor Core and extra Carbon stringers allow this board to handle the heaviest terrain with precision power. With the added ‘backseat’ inserts it’s still no worries on those extra deep days. TM

Your only friend on a powder day. The seriously increased angles on POW TBT and Camel Toe make this board float like a dream while releasing pressure off your back leg. You will be powering turns through the lightest of freshies! Since we’ve reduced the amount of dyes in this board, added a FSC core and replaced the ABS sidewalls with Bam!Boom! sidewalls; you could be forgiven for calling this a ‘green’ board. Either way, this affordable pow surfer needs to be in your quiver. TM

“ We are just trying to tell you where the boards perform best but Don’t go too nuts on these categories. TBTTM makes every snowboard more allround than a flat board. you can still jib with a goliath, Carve with an AIROBIC, RIDE PARK ON AN OMNI AND hit powder with A disaster. ” 51.
