Amanda was scheduled to check out at noon, but the hotel staff had had enough … and kicked her out several hours before mandatory check out. Six Flags has confirmed an adult woman died while riding the Texas Giant Friday night. While news of the death quickly spread across Twitter, few details were confirmed as of 8 p.m. Some media outlets cited eyewitness reports that the woman fell to her death. Authorities at Six Flags did not reveal how the woman died. Six Flags official statement: We are deeply saddened to share that earlier this evening an adult woman died in the park while on the Texas Giant. Park medical staff and local paramedics responded immediately. Since the safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority, the ride has been closed pending further investigation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time. KANYE WEST ATTACKS ANOTHERPHOTOGRAPHER 

  

Kanye West assaulted a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon, shoving him to the ground and yelling at him after the lensman tried to snap a few photos of the rapper. Kanye came out of the terminal, and as soon as the videographer (NOT one of ours) started filming him, Kanye allegedly grabbed the man by the shoulders, punched him and tried to wrestle the camera from his hands. An X17 photographer on the scene tells us that Kim Kardashian‗s baby daddy even put his foot on the photographer‘s face! Paramedics were called to the scene, and the photographer was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Kanye and his bodyguard left in their car. UPDATE: A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Airport Police said in a statement to X17online: ―Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (on the arrival level curbside), Los Angeles Airport Police officers were flagged down by a citizen (photographer) who alleged that he was taking pictures of an individual when he was battered by the subject. The alleged subject was not at the location nor was he observed by officers at the scene. LAFD was notified, responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention. A police report was taken by the Los Angeles Police Department and the investigation is ongoing.‖

MILEY CYRUS PUNK SHORT HAIR 

No matter what the naysayers say, Miley shows she‘s ultra-confident with her new look and fighting back against stereotypes. ―People think short hair, they think tomboy…and I‘ve obviously done the opposite cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover where I got No. 1 [in their annual hot list],‖ says Cyrus. ―And it wasn‘t about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it‘s something I loved. I don‘t think I‘ve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.‖ Cyrus is cutting edge with her signature punk haircut. Whether she is on the red carpet or twerking in her new video ‖We Can‘t Stop‖ she rocks her hair with confidence. Which versatile hair style do you like best from this former Disney

MCDONALD’S EMPLOYEES FORCED TO WORK WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING 

A New York City McDonald‘s crew walked out Friday, saying they were forced to work without air conditioning amid record-high temperatures. One worker collapsed from the heat. Luisa Villa, an employee who participated in the walkout on Friday, said in an interview with The Huffington Post that the air conditioner in the restaurant‘s kitchen has been broken at least since she began working there nine years ago. The crew member who collapsed, Esheliz Méndez, had complained about the broken air conditioner numerous times, she added. A repair was made last year after another employee collapsed, Villa said, but the cooling system broke again within a week. ―[The owners of the store] make fun of us because they think we‘re animals,‖ Villa said in Spanish. ―We‘re not animals. We‘re people. We don‘t want to die and you can certainly die from the heat, you know.‖

DISNEY’S NEW KINECT TOY

Virtual reality only immerses two of your senses: sight and hearing. Not that we‘re dying for smell and taste in video games , but tactical feedback makes things feel a lot more real. Disney Research‘s Aireal does this by blowing puffs of air in your face, and it‘s not nearly as crazy as it sounds. Inside the camera-sized device, five subwoofer-like actuators blast a very low frequency through a movement-following nozzle, creating a low-pressure ring of air traveling toward you. When the ring hits your skin, it collapses, and you feel a small, sharp puff. The frequency of the pulses can be varied to create different textures and sensations, and with a firing range of about six feet and 75 degrees of articulation, it‘s perfectly dialed in for Kinect-style close-range interaction.

LINKEDIN FORECASTS END OF DIRECT MARKETING ONLINE

Industry insiders such as LinkedIn co-founder Allen Blue predicts that today‘s direct marketing techniques which target messages based on an individual‘s profile will become less effective and eventually disappear. ―Often advertising is wrong,‖ he says. ―Groupon thinks I‘m a 28-year-old woman judging by the liposuction things they send me.‖ Blue, LinkedIn ‘s vice president for product management, forecasts a fundamental change in advertising where customers will have far more say in what kind of messages they see. ―Going back to ‗Mad Men‘ , going back to 1950s, so much of that was a whole bunch of people who were essentially ignorant of the opportunities that existed in the world around them,‖ he says. ―Advertising is a distribution mechanism to get the word out. That‘s not the world we live in anymore.‖ The Direct Marketing Association industry trade group disagrees. They say $168.5 billion spent on direct marketing in 2012 produced more than two trillion dollars in incremental sales. Overall, that amounts to nearly nine percent of U.S. gross domestic product. On Wednesday, the DMA released the results of a survey of 235 marketers in which 77 percent said real-time personalization is very important for their businesses.
