Cutting Edge Digital Solutions for European Industries Final conference held in Brussels in February 2016, a transit between EU industries and Information and Communications sector which is funded by CRE-AM project in order to nurture new and unique technologies, tools and policies. The project initiated references and blueprints and created many shareholders-aimed online platforms which were focused to boost EU’s future ICT research and development agenda to grow new tools which can support these industries. The project also prospects to facilitate the improvisation and enhancement of already enabled platforms and tools.

Cre-Am Protocol And Online Platforms Of Community For estimating accurate technological requirements for present as well as future of the creative industries, the project conducted a survey involving interaction with thought leaders of a particular sector. The protocol was made on the basis of “Emerging Paradigm Shift” which contains 3 stages. The very first includes how a certain problem is considered by the individuals and how they come out with

possible solutions to the same. Secondly, hunt for the effective methods to implement these solutions and finally making them available to the wide audience with the help of innovative technology. Because of this process, wide policy references we put forward on how ICT and digital industries can come together with the creative sector by the project. Different and custom made agendas were built for the art, architecture, design, media, video gaming and e-publishing industries. In an attempt to collect important inputs as much as required and possible for the protocol from all the willing shareholders and to support and boost collective forethought activities, because of the project, a number of online programs were created for each sectors. Those who participated were encouraged to discuss the current and estimated needs for the future of particular industry and how digital solutions can be used to meet them.

Instance from Video Games and Art Sectors During final conference, European video game developers were highlighted that they were at plain demerit because of the fact that they were effectively left out of new hardware solutions which were developed in US and east. The agenda decided for the video games industry argues that it’s quite important for European technology to develop the solutions of their own and digitally owned infrastructure involving cloud computing and (IOT) Internet of Things. This will enable EU’s gaming industry to compete better globally. The emergency for the use of such solutions is because of rapid interest from consumers to be capable of streaming video games directly without having a physical copy on their console. Accommodating 3D

graphics and Virtual Reality technology, games turning more complex and ICT infrastructure scaled up to facilitate these technological advancements. The researchers for the project of art sector emphasized on developing the 3D technology further, like holographic displays and projectors and a technology which can use all the five human senses. This would give the common public richer and memorable experience while engaging with cultural artifacts and innovative art forms. The project also states that there has to be a strong, rigorous technology enabled patent and intellectual property right that can support all the industries. New technology solutions for creative sectors must be able to find copyright violations if there are any and be able to secure the data from the danger of hacking and theft. The recommendations made by the CRE-AM by the findings of the project is going to contribute to current as well as future EU policy steps which focuses on strengthening and supporting the industries, which are ascertained to add up to around 3% of EU’s overall GDP.

This also made addition for online communities which will going to boost and stimulate the engagement directly and continually between ICT solution providers and creative sector shareholders representing the vital 2 sectors of Europe.
