HOW DID YOU FIRST COME UP TO SET UP ROSELLA STYLE?
After over 30-years experience in retail, working in wholesale, area management, merchandising and buying. Culminating in owning in a United Colours of Benetton franchise for 13 years on Esher High Street we felt it was time for a change. With Internet shopping taking over and the death of the High Street and increased rents we felt a ‘Pop up’ business was the way forward. We’ve both always loved dresses and felt there was a lack of choice out there so our Rosella strapline “We love a dress” was born.
WHAT IS THE VISION BEHIND THE BRAND?
To offer a very different and unique style to women of all ages and sizes at affordable prices. To take our clothes to women at different events.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO BE POPPING UP THIS JULY?
From the 4th - 9th of July we are at the Hampton Court Flower Festival. On the 23rd of July we are at the Thames Ditton Farmers Market. But in between events we have appointments in our styling pod in Thames Ditton.
The flexibility of choosing how much more or how little we want to work. Working it around our family life and of course doing it with your best friend. But ultimately giving women the confidence to feel good about themselves in the clothes we choose.
WHAT CAN CUSTOMERS EXPECT FROM YOUR THAMES DITTONBASED STYLE POD?
A one-to-one styling experience in a calm and relaxed environment. Selecting and trying on an extensive variety of different European brands to suit their individual style. Often offering wardrobe restyling or choosing that one outfit for that special event. We work around women’s busy lives also offering evenings and weekend appointments. A good coffee or something a little stronger is always on offer.

Selecting styles to compliment and show off our client’s best assets. Offering a wardrobe re-style and outfit planning. We also offer style parties in the evenings with a few bottles of fizz thrown in.
Emma: The Laurel Maxi Dress, the dress of the Season! Caroline: The Tropical Midi Dress, bold and bright, a statement dress!
Emma: The Parrot Clutch Bag, as I love a Parrot! Caroline: The Floral Mini Bag, love a bit of sequin & sparkle!
WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD FOR ROSELLA STYLE?
Discovering new and exciting brands. Spreading the Rosella love further afield across the country doing more pop-up events maybe even designing a dress or two with our own label in!!

Emma: Earplugs, Frizzease, my lovely Laurel sundress. Caroline: Slippers, crisps, Sunlounger. WHO WOULD BE YOUR IDEAL CELEBRITY PARTY GUESTS?
Emma: Alan Carr, Dawn French and Gino to cook for us. Caroline: Chris Hemsworth, Trinny Woodall and Graham Norton.
This month Surrey Rocks caught up with Caroline and Emma, the style queens behind Surrey-based Rosella Style. Not only do they have a superb lines from the coolest international fashion brands but they have a style pod in Thames Ditton, appear in pop-ups all over the county and model their own collections alongside running their online boutique!
MOST EMBARRASSING ITEM IN YOUR WARDROBE?
Emma: A sequined camo jacket that my daughters will never let me leave the house in. Caroline: Snake print fitted trousers.
BEST CHARACTER TRAIT?
Emma: Always sees the positive in every situation. Caroline: Always happy and upbeat.
WORST HABITS?
Emma: Talks too much! Caroline: Talks too much!
FRIDAY NIGHT OUT OR SUNDAY DAY IN?
Emma: Friday night out. Caroline: Sunday day in.
WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT LIVING IN SURREY?
Being so close to London but also having such amazing open spaces and countryside around us (oops that’s 2 things!)
WHAT’S THE WORST THING ABOUT LIVING IN SURREY?
The traffic.
