MEMBERS ONLY
Winter is cosy and comforting with the thermal floors and heated relaxation beds. I love how they have hairdryers and straighteners in the changing rooms for you, they really have thought of everything. For a joining fee of £750 and an annual fee £3590, you have unlimited access to the spa 365 days a year. This is inclusive of all studio classes from yoga to street dance. You also get 20% off spa treatments from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Yes please!
Coach House Spa, Beaverbrook
You know how much I’m obsessed with Beaverbrook. The fact that it is a very short drive from my house makes it a no brainer for me to become a member of the Coach House Spa (husband take note!) Membership gives you access to all facilities Monday to Friday with a joining fee of £500 and an annual fee of £4,500. This includes a health consultation, fitness induction and three Personal Trainer sessions. You get 15% off all spa treatments as well as 25 complimentary group classes such as yoga and Hitt. You also get four complimentary guest passes. I’m not sure how pleased my friends would be if I said we were going to Beaverbrook for a workout rather than for lunch! Fear not, you can do both because the Coach House Deli serves the most delicious, tasty and nutritious food.
RAC Woodcote/ London
Lets not forget the kiddies! RAC Woodcote have been very clever to attract families with their newly built Walled Garden. They have an enchanting Woodland which you can wonder through, an indoor pool, outdoor splash area which my kids are a huge fan of, soft play facility, numerous play areas as well as a creche. For me this is one of the nicest (not to mention cleanest) soft plays I have been to. No more wincing at the germ laden ball pits and dirty floors covered in baby drool, this is spotless and perfect for the little ones. The RAC has so much more to offer including a golf course, spa treatments and restaurants. The club holds many social and sporting activities including fireworks displays, comedy nights and Santa’s grotto. There are various types of membership fees but the full membership fee is £4,750 to subscribe, followed by an annual fee of £2,124. Junior membership is also open to children, as well as guardian memberships to nannies and grannies for £250 annually. Membership also gives you access to the Pall Mall Clubhouse which has 108 bedrooms, a business centre as well as a gym and treatment rooms. How very handy for when you want to stay in London. Be warned, the application process can take months, I applied in May last year and I am still waiting for mine…

Soho House is not just a destination, it’s a brand. Everything about it screams laid back luxury which is the epitome of Soho Farmhouse. Set in the idyllic Cotswolds countryside, it’s no wonder that it’s the countryside retreat of choice for the mega-rich and celebrities. From the moment you arrive there is a sense of calmness yet there is so much to do for all ages. You can swim indoors or outdoors at the Cowshed Spa, go clay pigeon shooting, horse- riding, bike riding, take your kids to the epic outdoor play area (or put them in the crèche and go for a massage?!).

Not to mention the multiple restaurants they have. I love the atmosphere of the main Barn, its vast and glamorous yet laid back.
The half baked cookie on the dessert menu is a MUST! Becoming a member here enables you to use any of the Houses around the world, however it is notoriously tricky. If you are lucky enough to be accepted as a Soho House member, you will be paying a joining fee of £550 and then an annual fee of £2,750. Check out the ‘Soho Friends’ membership. Whilst it does not give you access to the Club spaces in the houses as the full membership would, it enables you to go to a House if you have booked a bedroom to stay there. Again, if you are lucky enough to be accepted, at only £100, its totally worth it!
