We Care Because You Care
At Jewish Family Service, we know that you are a big part of our success and effectiveness. And in 2022, we accomplished a lot together! Our Youth Mental Health Services continued to provide critical assistance to youth, teens, and young adults in Greater Cincinnati. By providing Youth Mental Health First Aid training to youth programs and day schools, we’ve expanded our capacity to help. When a need arises, a trained adult can step in with support. K’vod Connect has now reached and engaged with over 150 older adults who have struggled with the challenges of isolation. With the help of K’vod Connect, they are now deepening their relationships to the Jewish community. By kindling or rekindling these important connections, we not only help our older adults; we rediscover an amazing community resource. Also in 2022, we worked quickly to create our Crisis in Ukraine Community Hotline, a coordinated effort that helped individuals and families—both here and abroad—better navigate matters brought on by the war.
As we round the corner of our 79th year and head toward our 80th, our values of compassion, integrity, and excellence continue to guide us. During every one of our eight decades of service, we have been a valuable and integral part of our community. We offer premium and need-based professional social services to families and individuals in Greater Cincinnati. We help people from our diverse community and from every economic level—with professionalism and expertise. But most importantly: we care. We know that you care, too—our funders, volunteers, and donors are an amazingly compassionate group. With your support, we plan on caring for another 80 years.
