Local Girls at Tech Trek
STUDENTS EMPOWERED TO EXPLORE CAREERS IN STEM FIELDS
S
ix eighth grade girls from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Poway-Peñasquitos branch attended the California Tech Trek Science and Math Camp for Girls at UCSD in June. Amanda Tsai (Mesa Verde), Sophia Righthouse (Mesa Verde), Raina Mesina (Black Mountain), Sophia Azab (Black Mountain), Parmis Kimiaghalam (Meadowbrook), and Alexis Ramirez (Meadowbrook) lived on the UCSD campus for a week, where they attended classes and participated in hands-on activities and experiments. The candidates were nominated by their seventh grade math or science teachers, and selected based on their performance in the extensive qualification process, which included an application, essay, and a personal interview. AAUW Tech Trek camps exist to help develop interest and excitement in science, technology, engineering, and
math (STEM) fields as well as improve self-confidence in eighth grade girls. Tech Trek also seeks to expose girls to careers available to women in science today and help them visualize college as part of their future. In addition to their regular math and science work, campers were exposed to evening programs in specified fields such as astronomy, engineering, chemistry, marine biology, and environmental studies to enhance their learning experience and introduce them to a variety of potential career areas. The Poway-Peñasquitos branch of AAUW encourages personal and professional growth of local women and girls, with members from Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Peñasquitos, Scripps Ranch, and Escondido. AAUW California was established in 1921 and is now the state’s most active and diverse organization for women. Learn more at www.powayarea-ca.aauw.net. ¢

POWAY SYMPHONETTE PERFORMS CONCERT TOUR IN CHINA
T
he Poway Symphonette chamber orchestra recently returned from its concert tour in China. Fifteen orchestra members, including Artistic Director Ulli Reiner, traveled to China in July, where they performed three concerts in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai. The group performed their first concert in Beijing on the day they arrived, and later were able to tour some major landmarks including the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Beijing National Stadium, and the Beijing Raptor Rescue Center. The Xian concert was a great success – it drew a crowd of over 800 people, which included a corporation that purchased 200 tickets, and was even covered by Chinese media. The orchestra also visited the Terra Cotta Warrior Museum while in Xian. The final
concert was performed for a full audience at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center, an iconic cultural landmark in the city. One of Ulli’s orchestra students from Twin Peaks Middle School, who was visiting family in China for the summer, attended the concert as well. The music was, once again, received very warmly. The Poway Symphonette, operated through the Poway Unified School District
Adult School, was created by Ulli in 2009 for musicians who want to be part of a smaller chamber orchestra ensemble. They regularly perform at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Poway as well as the Poway Center for Performing Arts. The orchestra will resume rehearsals for next season at Twin Peaks Middle School in September. For more information visit www.powaysymphonette.org. ¢

iara Woodahl is a young woman with a love for dance and a passion for helping others. “I have loved dancing for as long as I can remember. I started dancing when I was two years old and have been competing since the age of three. My mom started me off in dance classes from such an early age because of my high energy level and love of moving along to music,” revealed Ciara. She currently dances with San Diego Dance Centre, where she is part of the competition team. Ciara recently received the highest possible award at a Los Angeles area competition and is competing this summer for the title of Best Dancer of the Year in Las Vegas. She is also a member of an all-female krump team – a style of hip hop that includes isolations and sharp movements. Not only does Ciara love dancing, but she is inspired by her dance teachers each and every day. “My dance teachers inspire me to strive to be a better dancer, a better person, and a better friend,” said Ciara. In addition to dancing, Ciara is actively involved in the Poway National Charity League. As a part of that service, she has worked in the Poway Public Library and even delivers meals to elderly residents. “I have also assisted at the Poway Senior Center,” stated Ciara, who loves giving back to her local community. Growing Up in Harmony FROM GIRL SCOUTS TO ORCHESTRA, KATIE & ELLIE O’CONNELL ARE IN TUNE WITH THEIR WORLD by LYDIA COBB | photos by Zeena Gregg Photography
K
atie and Ellie O’Connell are growing up here with their mom, Lisa Suzuki. It’s no surprise that she is often busy getting them to school and extracurricular events. But Lisa is no ordinary mom, and these are extraordinary sisters. “My mom inspires me because she always works hard and teaches me to be the best person I can be,” shared Katie, who’s in middle school at The Academy at Meadowbrook Middle School. Juggling rehearsals and community service events, Katie added, “She never misses a performance!” Katie was awarded the Eugene C. Kim Memorial Scholarship for academics and citizenship last year. She makes straight As, and plays violin in the Civic Youth Orchestra, viola in the school orchestra and Girl Scout String Quartet, and saxophone in the school band. She’s also in Glee Club, Poway Safety Patrol, and on the Science Olympiad team, and mentioned, “I love art and have won an art award each year since kindergarten.” Ellie is right behind her, but equally matched in spirit, having also won visual arts awards. “My best honor is playing second violin in the Girl Scout String Quartet,” shared Ellie, who also plays violin in the Civic Youth Orchestra and at school, and is involved in student council activities. They’ve both been in Girl Scouts for seven years in the troop that their mom started. Ellie added that it’s fun earning badges, leading younger scouts, and helping seniors and veterans. “My nana and papa would take me to the symphony when I was very young,” remembered Katie. “I first told my mom I wanted to play violin when I was in preschool.” Ellie’s musical inspiration also sparked early. “My first instrument was a ukulele my mom got me so I wouldn’t touch Katie’s violin,” she added. Ellie mostly loves to sing opera, can play piano and trumpet, and was Jane in Peter Pan, and described, “I got to fly across the stage at Poway Performing Arts Center!” “The hardest part is getting up really early or being exhausted after a long community service project,” Katie mentioned of their adventures. Or as Ellie put it, “We might have a five-hour rehearsal for string quartet, but it’s worth it!” In school and on stage, they’re growing up in harmony. They imagine medical careers that give back to people and animals. In the meantime, they’re building upon their dreams, one note at a time.

he Buetows relocated for work and found Valle Verde six years ago. They are drawn to this older neighborhood and its canopies of mature trees. Bernie Buetow, Ph.D., D.V.M. is a board-certified veterinary pathologist. Sharon is an accountant with a B.S. in business administration, not currently working as she’s raising their two sons. Sharon and Bernie met at the gym, where Sharon worked and where Bernie went to work out. Here at home, they live a balanced life with teens Alec and Devin. “Our family jokes around and teases a lot,” said Sharon. “We believe you can work hard and do a good job while maintaining a smile,

Going the distance, Alec is in cross-country running – this year, Devin joins the team. At home the fun continues. When Bernie poured pickle juice over ice and suggested that Devin finish a Mountain Dew, Devin got played. Not to be outwitted, Devin placed a habanero pepper in the mix of sweet peppers Bernie enjoys. Sharon remembered, “With watery eyes and a red face, Bernie looked at Devin and said, ‘Well played, my young Padawan.'” Sometimes they take to the road and explore state and national parks, going fishing and hiking, or ATV riding. But it’s volunteering together that leads to their greatest rewards. “People that we are closest to in our community are those we met through “You can work hard our volunteer work at Boy Scout Troop 680 and Guide Dogs for the Blind,” and do a good job added Sharon. Bernie is a second-year while maintaining Scoutmaster in a group described by Sharon as a “high adventure troop that a smile, laughing, does some fantastic outings.” Sharon is a club leader in Paws 4 A Cause, nurturing and having fun.” puppies as future guide dogs. The Buetows have so far raised four puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind (one was better placed as a Diabetic Alert Dog). Sharon admits it’s hard to see her puppies leave, but shared, “These dogs go on and do amazing things for the people they are matched with.” It’s all about putting passions in the right places, Buetow family-style.

B
ob Beavers moved his family to Poway in 1999 from Santa Maria and confidently admitted, “I have never regretted that decision!” Now he, his wife, and their two children all thrive because of the ample opportunities that their neighborhood provides for them. Working as a dentist during the day, in his free hours Bob is committed to numerous volunteering projects that benefit the wider community’s needs. Bob first caught the volunteering bug in Santa Maria, when a colleague invited him to a local Kiwanis Club meeting. He remembered, “It was without a doubt the most rewarding experience, from both a professional and personal growth perspective.” That initial meeting introduced Bob to the joys of providing dental care to the less fortunate, which he continues to do to this day at a community clinic once a week. Extending his professional services to those in need resulted in Bob receiving the
Business Person of the Year Award from the local Chamber of Commerce in 1998. Now that he is in Poway, Bob is active not only with Kiwanis, but also with many other organizations that cater to the special needs community. As the father of a special needs daughter, Bob is involved with the support group PASS (Parent Advocates Seeking Solutions), has coached for Poway’s Challenged Basketball program, and devotes considerable time to the Special Olympics. Of the latter, Bob exclaimed, “Poway being a Host City for the Special Olympics World Games was absolutely tremendous. In fact, parents many times will mention that programs and volunteer groups available in other states or locations are a fraction of what we have here in Poway!” Offering a suggestion to others who may be interested in volunteering but don’t know where to begin, Bob recommends the Kiwanis Club of Poway. He proclaimed, “It is the only

club in San Diego that supports programs for elementary, middle school, high school, college, and special needs young adults.” Bob continued, “I hope to see younger generations embrace the opportunities that volunteering creates to not only benefit their communities, but to enrich themselves with activities and leadership skills that will surface. To become a participant rather than an observer is just so much fun!”

She began playing piano at three years old, and the cello at six. Natasha is no stranger to performing on stage; she has performed with the California Ballet for the past five years in The Nutcracker, with the San Diego Junior Theatre, San Diego Youth Symphony, the North County String Ensemble, and the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra. She also enjoys drawing, and has had her

Poway Among Safest Cities in California The City of Poway was recently named the 16th safest city in California by Safewise, an organization that rates the 50 safest cities in states around the country every year. The 2016 ranking is a 10-spot jump up from #26 in 2015. The 50 Safest Cities in California list is based on the most recent FBI Crime Report and population statistics in cities with 11,000 residents or more. Final ratings evaluate reported property and violent crimes occurring per 1,000 people in each city. According to Safewise, over half of California’s safest cities had fewer than 20 violent crimes during the FBI’s most recent reporting period, and 17 of the 20 cities reported zero incidents of murder. In addition to the Safewise ranking, Poway was named the safest city in San Diego County in a report released by the San Diego Association of Governments (SDAG) in March. Dangerous Obsession at PowPAC The Poway Performing Arts Company (PowPAC) will present Dangerous Obsession, a psycho-thriller written by N.J. Crisp in the 1980s. The suspenseful play is about a man obsessed with pinning the blame for his wife’s accident on someone. Full of tension and shocking plot twists, the production is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Dangerous Obsession opens on Friday, Sept. 16 and runs for five weekends, closing on Sunday, Oct. 16. RB Chorale Open to New Members The RB Chorale is embarking upon its 42nd Holiday Season, and is seeking new members to join and participate in rehearsals for the holiday shows to be held at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts in December. Male tenors and basses are especially needed. Women are welcome as well, but there are a limited number of openings in the soprano and alto sections. No auditions are necessary; all you need is a desire to have fun and make beautiful music. Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at Painted Rock Elementary School in Poway. New members should arrive at 6:30 p.m. to register and fill out a membership application. All experience levels are welcome. New members will be accepted through Oct. 6. The RB Chorale is comprised of over 100 volunteer singers, dancers, and support staff bringing the gift of song to the community. For more information visit www.rbchorale.org or send an email to contact-us@rbchorale.org.
I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD) will lead the 32nd Annual Coastal Cleanup Day as part of the International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The community is invited to participate locally by choosing from 108 sites where more than 8,000 San Diegobased volunteers will work alongside a half million volunteers worldwide. Although the name suggests that it is a beach cleanup, nearly 75 percent of the cleanup sites are actually located inland along rivers, creeks, canyons, and urban areas, where 80 percent of marine debris starts. While litter removal is a large focus of the event, volunteers will also participate in beautification projects such as graffiti removal and replacing invasive species with drought-tolerant landscaping. ILACSD is San Diego’s most influential advocate for sustainability, awakening passion and inspiring action to create a lasting, positive impact on the local environment. For more information visit www.cleansd.org. Volunteers of all ages and ability levels are welcome to register for Cleanup Day at www.cleanupday.org. September | October 2016 • 92064 MAGAZINE.COM • 33

Poway’s first specialty coffee shop has just opened, serving single origin coffees, European pastries, and handcrafted roasted beans. “While our history is not that long, it’s powerful and purposeful,” shared Cory Withrow, President/CEO of The King’s Craft Coffee Co. “The motivation comes from a calling on our lives that we feel we are answering to bring a huge piece of us to our great city here.” Inside, he described, “It’s an atmosphere full of energy and relaxation at the same time.” With just a sip, coffee lovers can imagine being in Africa or Mexico, where small farms are the source for their savory

Cold brew coffees can be pushed with nitro on tap. Pour overs, espresso drinks, and regular coffees are on the everchanging menu. He credited Jason Clark of JC Built for helping make The King’s Craft possible. “He worked all hours of the day and night, he worked with the city and the county, and most importantly, he worked with our vision to build what we feel is the best specialty café that Poway has ever seen. photos by Zeena Gregg Photography
With its rich topography and educational opportunities, visitors can truly learn to love the land at Goodan Ranch Sycamore Canyon Preserve. A variety of animals call the preserve home, from hummingbirds and red-tailed hawks to coyotes and mule deer, and the Goodan Ranch Center houses raptors, snakes, and wildlife and history exhibits. Equestrians, cyclists, and hikers can enjoy the 10 miles of trails winding through meadows and woodlands. We spoke with Supervising Park Ranger Maureen Abare-Laudy to learn more about this natural and historical treasure.

C O V E R F E AT U R E WHAT IS THE HISTORY BEHIND GOODAN RANCH SYCAMORE CANYON PRESERVE?
Q&A WITH SUPERVISING PARK RANGER MAUREEN ABARE-LAUDY
Sycamore Canyon Preserve was acquired in 1964, and acquisition efforts are ongoing. Goodan Ranch was acquired in 1991 jointly by the County, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the City of Santee, and the City of Poway. The Goodan Ranch Center was erected following the 2003 Cedar Fire next to the original ranch house. According to Carol Billhardt Crafts’s A History of the Land Then and Now, “May Chandler Goodan (family owned the LA Times newspaper) and Roger Goodan purchased land in Sycamore Canyon in
1938. In 1943 they added more acreage, a hundred head of cattle, many horses, and their ranch became a vacation haven for friends and family. Electricity and phone service came to the ranch in 1952.”

HOW HAVE THE RANCH HOUSE AND PRESERVE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS? HOW DID THE CEDAR FIRE IMPACT THE PARK?
WHAT AMENITIES, ACTIVITIES, AND PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE COMMUNITY?
The Cedar Fire burned 99 percent of the preserve. For many years, the ranch house was used as a ranger residence, and it was transitioned in 2001 into the ranger office. Most of the oak woodlands were charred but they survived, however, that damage combined with drought conditions and invasive species have led to the loss of many oak trees. It took
The preserve offers more than 10 miles of trails from easy to difficult terrain connecting to the West Sycamore, City of San Diego trail system. The Goodan Ranch Center – a 3,000-square-foot LEED-certified green building – hosts historic and live wildlife exhibits. The preserve offers a large variety of programs for children and adults,

ave you ever walked into a gym and felt overwhelmed, confused, or had no idea where to start? Then it could be time to Smartrain at Koko FitClub, a digital gym. They have fit figured out. “We remove the guesswork that frustrates people and prevents them from sticking with their fitness goals,” stated Sharky Bowman, manager of Koko FitClub, a cardio and strength training facility with locations in Rancho Bernardo and Scripps Ranch. Koko features the patented Smartrainer, which stores over 100 different exercises and customizes a full-body workout in 30 minutes. The system adapts as a member progresses, adding incremental weight or new exercises to keep them engaged. Each time a member inserts their Koko Key, they are coached. The key stores their range of motion and current strength with specific exercises, and displays the targeted pace per rep onto a monitor. “It is like a video game,” added a member, Bill. “I almost forget I’m working out!” The owners, Karen Lossing and her husband, were members of Koko FitClub in Texas prior to moving to San Diego. “After three years, we missed it so much we opened

Coins for Ecuador
LOCAL STUDENTS FUNDRAISE FOR FRIENDS ABROAD
W
hen the City of Poway hosted the Special Olympics team from Ecuador in 2015, Poway High School freshman Myra Ashraf and Daniela Garcia volunteered as Spanish/English translators, forming strong connections with the team members. So when they heard the devastating news of the earthquake in Ecuador this year, they were quick to start fundraising to help their friends. Neither of the girls are able to have social media accounts, so fundraising for them meant talking to people face-to-face. Community members were eager to help Myra and Daniela reach their goal of $700. The girls first spoke to their former Valley Elementary School principal Mr. Ceceña, who let them hang posters around the campus and set up a money box. Next they talked to their former teacher Mrs. Balanon, who gave them a table at Del Sur Elementary’s Heritage Nite. They then worked with the City, which gave them permission to set up two money boxes in the City Hall building.
Deputy Mayor Jim Cunningham even offered to match their funds. The pair spoke to their former Meadowbrook Middle School principal, Dr. Carrillo. Due to Meadowbrook’s financial policy, the money raised had to be donated through the Meadowbrook student council. “We didn’t let ASB do all the work, however,” said Daniela. “We walked around during lunch asking students for donations and even made a commercial for our student news.” In the end, Myra and Daniela’s efforts paid off, and they far exceeded their original goal. They were able to donate a total of $919.94 to the Red Cross to help their Special Olympics friends. “It was an honor for me to be a part of this rewarding project,” Myra said. “I really enjoyed hearing the sound of the coins we collected for those in Ecuador who need it and presenting our accomplishments in front of the Poway City Council.” ¢

Change Is Coming
F
or the past year, Titans have been whispering in the halls about Poway High School changing its term format. Eventually those rumors would turn into a discussion and that discussion would lead to a decision. As the Poway Unified School District announced, Poway High School will be changing its term format to trimesters or a 3x5 in the 2017-2018 school year. The idea of changing Poway High School’s term format system came up in October after a group of teachers offered the suggestion of considering other term formats. A few months later, Poway High staff proposed four different term format
options: 2x8, 2x6, 3x5, 4x4. They then set up three separate referenda, each a week apart, where staff voted for whichever option they preferred most. This process went until the 3x5 term format was ultimately chosen. The 3x5 is a system with 12-week trimesters in which students take five classes at a time. The cause behind changing the term format came from two major issues the school has dealt with in the past: the opportunity to remediate and advance. Due to the semester system, students who earn a D or F in classes had little chance to retake the class because there simply was no room in their schedule. On the other

$
side, students looking to advance were limited on the number of non-UC/CSU A-G courses they were allowed to take. To fix this problem, the teachers decided on the 3x5 format because it is the best format that will meet Poway staff and students’ needs. As many things are still not set in stone, what is set is that change is coming to Poway High – and with it, the chance to be better students in a better school. ¢

A CENTENNIAL
CELEBRATION Be Part of the Pride by Celebrating the San Diego Zoo's 100th Year by SAMANTHA EDWARDS
W
aterfalls cascading over rocks into pools below, the sun peeking through thick foliage, faint sounds of birds chirping and monkeys laughing in the distance... It's easy to forget for a moment that you're not actually strolling through the jungle! And that is the beauty of the worldfamous San Diego Zoo: it connects people closely with animals in the most natural way possible. The San Diego Zoo, operated by San Diego Zoo Global, has been a pioneer in the zoological sphere since its inception in 1916, from being among the first in the world to build innovative open-air grotto exhibits to making key contributions to medical research, natural science, and wildlife conservation. This year the zoo celebrates its centennial anniversary – 100 years of trials and triumphs, fun memories, and, of course, lots of fascinating animals! With over 3,500 rare and endangered animals, more than 650 species and subspecies, and over 700,000 exotic plants living on the 100-acre property, the zoo is dedicated to preserving wildlife as one of the world's leading global conservation organizations. Some have even referred to the zoo as a living outdoor classroom, educating children and adults alike about the natural world. So for the remainder of the year, join us in celebrating the extraordinary people and animals who have made this beloved San Diego icon what it is today.

When Is the Best Time to Buy Real Estate? by CYNTHIA ELIZONDO
A
s in most businesses, real estate has an annual cycle. Knowing when prices tend to be higher and lower can mean the difference of tens of thousands of dollars in final purchase price. Much of this cycle revolves around the basic logistics of life. In the spring, families are preparing for the end of the school year, and that’s when most people move, so as not to disrupt their children’s education mid-year. To prepare for that move, they start looking for (and making offers on) their next home. This increase in buyers creates more of a demand, moving prices higher.
Conversely, during the holiday months of November and December, school is in full swing, and most families are focused more on getting together with loved ones than they are about packing up and moving. Fewer buyers means lower prices. So, in general, if you are looking to get the lowest price for your next home, the best time to buy is in the fall and winter. Remember, however, many sellers know the best time to sell is in the spring, so the number of houses to choose from in the winter will be less. You may not be able to find “the perfect house,” even if it is at the perfect price. ¢

TOP LINE ROOFING SERVES CUSTOMERS WITH INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM by JENNIFER FRAKES | photo by Zeena Gregg Photography
W
hen it comes to repairing a roof or installing a brand-new one, homeowners that hire Top Line Roofing can feel confident they are receiving an honest estimate and professional, courteous service. “Top Line Roofing works with customers to discover their true needs, to educate them on the roofing issues they face, and to present them with options that work best for their budget and their needs,” stated Wayne Sorenson, owner of Top Line Roofing. He’s proud to report that much of his business comes from the referrals of satisfied customers. Currently celebrating 25 years of business, Top Line Roofing is dedicated to serving the community’s long-term needs. When Wayne first opened the business, his primary focus was on roof repairs. Since that time, Top Line has expanded into the re-roofing realm, applying lessons learned from the repair side of the business. “Fifty percent of Top Line’s work involves repairs that correct the mistakes of other roofers. We have learned how to install roofs correctly the first time and avoid these mistakes,” said Wayne. Top Line provides free estimates, and Wayne encourages homeowners to have their roofs evaluated every 18 to 24 months to prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. Another way Top Line sets itself apart
from the competition is through its use of the latest technology. Wayne’s truck is equipped with a computer and printer, and in most cases a typed estimate can be provided onsite. “We also use satellite technology to aid in measuring the size, area, and pitch of a roof,” explained Wayne. According to Wayne, Top Line has earned a reputation for being quick, clean, and professional. “Our employees have spent years in the roofing industry, are well-trained in all types of roofing, and are able to analyze and assess the needs of our clients. We also continue to educate our roofing professionals on the newest materials and techniques, as well as safety procedures,” said Wayne. Employees train and review every week, he explained. “We review current jobs and discuss concerns, what happened, and how things can be improved, so all our crews are in unison and we can provide the same service throughout all of our jobs.” Top Line Roofing’s safety training and equipment surpasses OSHA requirements. Top Line is also a member of the San Diego Roofing Contractors Association (SDRCA), and over the years, Wayne has served as president, treasurer, and chairman of the Roof Education committee and the Build-a-Roof committee, the charitable arm of the organization. ¢

“IS TREATMENT REALLY NECESSARY?”
ASK THE PLUMBER!
Brockmire Plumbing Services Inc., DBA BPS Plumbing and Drains has been bringing expertise and quality services to San Diego County for over 20 years. BPS Founder and Owner Eric Brockmire began plumbing in 1987. A few years later he knew he wanted to start his own business that would provide better service than the industry standard, and BPS was born. Eric wanted to know why so many plumbing fixtures kept breaking, so he got to the root of the problem. “I realized that the quality of the water had a major effect on the plumbing systems and the appliances,” Eric said. “So I started learning about water...and BPS came up with solutions.” BPS is unique from other plumbing companies in that it directly addresses this issue by offering water quality solutions. “We have access to the best equipment in the industry that will provide you with many years of great tasting and high quality water that keeps your plumbing working great and you feeling healthy.” In addition to water treatment, BPS provides other comprehensive plumbing services, including drain clearing, water heater repair and replacement, leak detection and locating, and sewer inspection and
repair, just to name a few. Above all else, BPS is a leader in the industry because they focus on business integrity and bringing only the highest levels of knowledge and experience to their customers. They also genuinely care about finding solutions and providing options that fit within the customer’s budget. “We are an honest company,” said Eric. “Let us prove how professional we are and how much we really do care.” ¢
