The form of this block is inspired from motif of traditional weaving pattern of Assam. The geometry of this block has been used to segregate different activities of weaving process and also to house different types of loom machines as per spatial requirements. There is provision of a large central courtyard for informal activities and a central staircase ,connecting both blocks, adds as a design element to overall elevation of the block.
