Wivelsfield FILMS - Paddington (PG) Family Comedy
Wivelsfield Village Hall, off Eastern Road, Wivelsfield Green RH17 7QG Paddington isn’t the only national treasure in the movie. The all star cast and humour will definitely appeal to adults. There’s Julie Walters as Mrs Bird the housekeeper. Jim Broadbent as the German refugee, Mr Gruber, who runs an antique shop. Hugh Bonneville as the uptight Mr Brown and his wife Sally Hawkins. Doctor Who himself, Peter Capaldi, as the Brown’s grumpy neighbour who eggs on Nicole Kidman, the evil taxidermist. And Matt Lucas as a garrulous taxi driver with all the cabbie clichés you’d expect! It’s great fun and a lovely film. Free, easy parking at the hall. Homemade cakes, ice creams and drinks served before the film and during the interval. Tickets £6 on the door, in advance from the Post Office & Village Stores or The Cock Inn, or online via the Facebook page for Wivelsfield Films or wivelsfieldfilms. wordpress.com Tuesday 23 June, 10:00-16:00
