The Jubilee Memorial Garden is now in place at Findon Valley Library, following the ‘Grand Opening' at our Coronation party on 7th May. This is a peaceful and permanent place in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ii. The garden includes 7 Queen Elizabeth roses - one for each decade of the Queen’s reign.

Planters and gardens

Did you know that FVRA and our Friends of Findon Valley group also tend the planters and garden near the library and King’s Parade and work with the rangers planting and clearing on Cissbury Fields. We liaise with The Vale School arranging wildflower planting on The Gallops. If you’d like to use your green-fingered expertise to help our community please get in touch! See of each month, 10am till noon. This is a free-entry social opportunity open to everyone, offering chess, draughts, Scrabble and much more, plus tea and coffee.

Artisan market

Our next Artisan Market at Lime Tree Surgery car park is on Sunday June 25th from 9.30am. Our April market was rather wet but plenty of stallholders turned up and everyone who bravely came to support us was very welcome! See you on 25th.

Membership

Findon Valley Free Church have launched ‘Game Time’ mornings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays www.fvra.org.uk

Less than 20% of the Valley’s households are members of FVRA. We need your support to continue to function for our great community. See our website, or pick up a form from Findon Valley Library, or see us at the market.
